What are all the libs complaining about? This got Obama elected POTUS. They make it sound like the recession was counterproductive. I would think in liberal circles that Sep. 15 is a national holiday.
ok, well thanks for the clarity, but as we all know, over time words can change in meaning depending on how they are used, so if the folks in financial circles want to keep the word meaning the same thing they should come up with another term for 'everybody except rich people are screwed', otherwise they're gonna keep using the word 'recession' in its stead
btw, you said, 'not to say that there aren't tough times' - I'm glad you said so because I'm really sick of semantical douchebags thinking that if they find a detail out of place in someone's argument that it somehow renders the whole argument moot - granted if with the submission of this video I was basing a claim that everyone except rich people are screwed on the the fact that we were in a recession then I would of course be incorrect, but it wouldn't change the fact that folks are hurtin

a recession is defined by 2 consecutive quarters of negative growth. we haven't had that.
that's not to say these aren't rough times, but i'm sick of people throwing that word left and right without knowing what they really mean by it.
