Uk's version was amazing, much better then the US version. But the thing is, the us & uk skins' were the same but the us version was just shit, like it tried to be as good but it wasnt.. if you get what i mean? dont get me wrong i am new to watching uk shows, like litterally i prefer shit like one tree hill and that, but nothing can do better than skins..
Obviously I enjoyed UK Skins a lot more, but I still thought the US version was interesting to watch and see if they could actually pull it off. But it just didn't work.
they did this with QAF too, copied the series word for word, they did it with Coupling, Teachers, Life on Mars, The Office, the Spanish movie REC, now Being Human, probably Inbetweeners soon enough. Have they no creativity? Why is it evrerything the yanks touch turns to sh*t?

I've not watched US Skins, but based on the general theme of morality and God-fearing that runs through most other American TV shows (that I've watched) I don't much fancy it...I doubt there's much entertainment from what I've previously seen/mentioned. Skins US is more live anybody can see that the uk version doesn't hold a candle to the us version, and for people saying that the us version is a copy it isn't cause the guy that created the uk version also created the us version so if you taalk about how the us version sucks then your actually saying that the uk version sucks also the us amps up the teen life in this version of skins

I've not watched US Skins, but based on the general theme of morality and God-fearing that runs through most other American TV shows (that I've watched) I don't much fancy it...I doubt there's much entertainment from what I've previously seen/mentioned. Most kids aren't even allowed out until they're in their 20's. Also how old are the actors for American skins? (teen shows in the US don't usual have teenagers in them, they're all clearly 30)

the us skins lacks the artistic portrayal and depth of each characters storyline. i actually had to watch the uk twice to get the in between meaning of each episode
tony =lacks the originals knowledge and brilliant/manipulative ways and perception
cassie=beauty and depression was poorly carried out. she just looked like a crack-addict:\
