It's an audio recording by John Eull. We haven't finished the decoder designs yet. No LRC ever started that slowly. I had to do a loop for about 30 seconds in order to keep the fast-starting audio in time with the slow-starting model.
@rapidotrains you fooled me good. will the final edition have the 2 types of bells? the 1st one being the original, and the 2nd is the via rail f40ph bell (not the one on p42dc, but the electronic traintronic bell, which sounds sweet) keep on making great cars!

Is that actual audio from the model? Or is it just sound effects dubbed in from an outside source? I was convinced it was the model until the clicking of the rails from the passenger cars came in, and I don't recall those cars having sound decoders.

OH MAN! I can't wait for the VIA LRC and the VIA steam genny. I have been waiting since the start for the LRC its so great to finally see a rolling model! I will be sure to pick up everything seen in this video. Thanks Rapido trains ;) day after day your making VIA RAIL easier to model!
