  • thanxz for the help! ;)

  • How do you get that pop up plug back into that bloody hole?. Goddamn it! I am going to smack the crap out that shit in a minute! Goddamn it you bloody plumbing thing! GODDAMN IT!

  • You're awesome, dude. Thoroughly informative, and entertaining. Thanks! And you're little guy is awesome, too.

  • Thanks for the tutorial video. Saved my cash from flying away in a few seconds.

  • That was acutually helpful

  • Thanks for the video. I don't feel as much like a noob anymore.

  • Thank you!

  • Lol thanx soo much my sink was not draining and it was late I was lookign for wrenches messing with everything until I found this video:)lol and in 12:/

  • Very informative video, can you please tell me how do you unclogg a double kitchen sink? When I turn on the garbage disposal water backs up from one side to another.

  • thanks a lot guy

  • Thanks for the great advice!

  • oh god i dont wanna deal with disgusting shit down the drain haha xD

  • Hi, My sink leaks water from underneath where the tubes connect. Do you know what I need to fix this?

  • Oh My Goshhhhhhhhhhh You Are Amazing Thank You Thank You Thank You :D I Had Like A Fistful Of Hair In There And Knew It Just Didnt Know How To Get It Out. Now My Sink Is Perfect And Clear :D

  • I want to fix my moms sink! Look on her face :O I'm pre-ordering Battlefield 3 for you!

  • Is it that hard to put the stopper back in? I'd rather avoid taking it out if I can.

  • @victory01 Its Very Easy, Just Line Up The Hole. Look At It With The Pole In The Drain Pipe And Youll See Where The Stopper Fits :)

  • Thank you dude! Great easy to follow instructions and video to support them. You saved me money and time. My husband is truly shocked that I did it myself with my 7 year old assistant. Do you have any videos on leaky toilets?! Thank you very much!

  • why not use a brush instead of your hands. I usually use liquid draino.

  • For tight nuts....use rubber gloves.(or one of those jar opening devices used by people with arthritis)

    For hygiene ....use latex gloves.

To cleane out the residue lining the wall of the pipe use a bottle brush

To avoid leaks when reassembled....clean all opened connection with a rag and check location and condition of O rings/seals.

To avoid interruptions (no matter how cute and funny) lock children in closet under the stairs.

  • @supersesqui Start your own channel dude and stop being such a douche bag about it all. This guy has been very helpful! And trust me you were probably no joy as a child. Look @ the person you have become. You were probably a total asshole when you were younger.

  • @godfreewoman

The points I mentioned are extra helpful ideas.

With 45 years experience of plumbing and other trades I think I am well versed to give pointers. Not all you tube videos are correct safe well made or factual.

Now ......why dont you fuck off back to the kitchen.

  • "... pipe wrench" :D

  • okay so now do you put the thing that goes up and down in the sink hole back in?! lol

  • My house is old and the sink is as old, had to use a flathead screwdriver and hit it with a hammer to loosen the joints.. and i had two pipe bends to undo, because the clog wasn't it the first bend. Thanks for the video, never would of knew what to do without it.

  • i saw other videos with the same advice, what to do, so i think this is great help. i was rather squeamish when i was watching since you didn't have any latex gloves on- but then again it's your own goo right? personally, i'd use gloves when doing any bathroom cleaning... my only problem was connecting the pop up plug!! that was a b**ch!!

  • Hey, just came across your video. Just wanted to say Thank You...very much for the info. My bathroom sink needed to be cleaned out and now I could not be more happier with the draining. Thank you!!!

  • you have a cute son

  • thanks a lot man, this vids are awesome!

  • this video was a really big help! It was quick nd easy, nd im a female so that was a plus. Thanks a lot from shina nd yoyo

  • Thanks for this video! It was gross though, like a black wet slug LOL mine was gross so yeah =T Im a girl btw :)

  • really good vid. i'm convinced i can do this myself. tired of fighting with that drain snake!

  • Awesome video. You're too funny. I get to do it tonight.. YAY FUN! lol...thanks for the help! Those stupid draino-type gels/liquids really don't work. Take care!

  • Dude, you make me laugh! Great video, keep them comming!

  • How to do you get the pop-up plug back together. You left that out but you said that is was a pain to get it back together and functioning? I really liked how simply you presented this. Good job except for leaving that part out.

  • @therazorgirl Yes, i would love to know how to reattach that part.

Also, is it bad to do it DIY? cause apparently the sink might leak D:

  • ewwwww

  • i clogged my sink a few month ago and i couldn't tell my parents...

but the sink was getting on my nerves!!!

after i watched your video i unclogged the sink within 5 min all by myself!

thank you soooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!! (now i can brag to my friends too)

  • pipewreench!

  • Thanks dude i learned how to fix my sink and im 12! my dad would have been pissed put this vid saved me

  • all went well thanks dude!

  • you didn't explain how to reconnect the drain stop thingy

  • LOVE your videos! I must have looked at dozens before I found yours...all others make this so freakin complicated! Thanks so much for simplifying the process! I now have a sink that drains like it's supposed to!

Give us MORE videos! I'm a single woman, and have to do all these types of things myself...

  • your wife is lucky, you are hot

  • My problem appears to be after the ptrap and the damn pipe has a sharp 90 degree turn, I need to have someone help me run a snake down it..

  • Thanks for this informative and entertaining vid. This gave me (read: mechanically inept dude) the courage to try my own sink and holy crap I did it after struggling to figure out which way to turn the stinkin PVC things to loosen them (guess I didn't watch close enough) and regaining my consciousness after the smell that came out of there, clog and goodies came out...now all systems go! Thanks!

  • Thanks! I like your tattoo on your wrist, too. :)

  • thanks so much! i didn't understand what my dad was saying over the phone, but i understood everything after watching this!

  • Im gonna try it right now.

  • Now how do I get my tub draining better without ripping shit up? Hahahahahaha

    Good video.

  • Stay tuned, I hope to have that vid up within a few days. It's easy I promise :) Thanks for watching!

  • Hahahahaha. That would be awesome! I just spent 30min in the tub with one of those cheap infomercial turbo snakes and its only draining slightly better.

I'll be on the look out for it.

Oh, those things only seem good for one or two uses cause its hard to clean. So don't waste the 20 bucks.

  • Kids are funny,Thanks for the info.

  • Hey, im a 25 yr old mom of two and my sink was getting on my nerves cause it drained slower and slower every day until it completely stopped. I just saw your vid and after putting my two girls down for a nap, i unclogged it in about 5 minutes, just used my hands, no tools and it was DISGUSTING but so much fun and easy. Thanks!!! great vid. My husband is gonna be happy when he gets home. LOL

  • Great! Very glad I could help! :) Merry Christmas!

  • you have a good kid man. Thanks for the advice. My sink was clogged a couple of weeks ago and as the days progressed it started to unclog more slowly. Then, like 3-4 days ago it just stopped draining. thanks to your advice, i'll get right on it tomorrow. Thanks again dude. 5*

  • lol thanks man! Glad I could help. If you run into any trouble, give me a hollar. Good luck!

  • Hey dude. Lol it's me again. Thanks to your advice, I unclogged my sink as well as my dads sink. Thanks man very much appreciate it. I'll subscribe. So much respect for you. God bless you and your child

  • is there anyway you could explain how to replace all the piping in your basement mine has a hole in it and its all metal i just dont want to screw it up theres alot of pipes and im not sure what to take off first

  • hire a plumber.

  • That's a pretty big job, especially if you want to replace ALL of it. Hiring a professional may be your best option here if you want to replace ALL the plumbing. It can get pretty tricky, and unfortunately I would be irresponsible if I tried to walk you through it. Keep your chin up though, and if you want to do it yourself that is AWESOME! Just make sure you research it as much as possible and never be afraid to ask questions! Good luck!

  • Can you use bleach to clean all the nasty stuff?

  • Nothing wrong with that :)

  • Dude, use latex gloves. It might be your own hair and your wife's, but crap in the sink causing clogs are a bio-disaster waiting to happen. Just to let you know. ;p I currently have a kitchen sink clog and the clog is deeper in the line and past the u-joint, I was wondering what your advice will be....

  • lol yeah I should use gloves, but I have been in the game so long that when I do stuff at my own house I tend to just muscle through it. Some of that stuff can get pretty gross though you're right :) Thanks for watching man! As far as your problem goes, I would suggest using a plunger. Plug your sink drain with a plunger, fill it with water and then get after it! I plan on making a vid about that very soon, so I hope this helps. Cheers!

  • I got it fixed, a coworker lent a plumbing snake, and a wall panel I found led to a T-Joint (w/ twist open lid) pipe that was very close to the clogging source.

  • Just tried it and it actually worked. I had some nasty shit up in my pipes. lol Thanks for the vid.

  • Glad it helped bro :)

  • Wow! Its worked for me and its easy fix...thanks a lot

  • Just wanted to do a drive by & thanks for making this video! It enabled me to unhook that damn plunger thing (for good) & clean that filthy bathroom sink like new. Yuk.

Don't tell the wife I used her good bowl - it's in the dish washer now...

    peace

  • Got a really good laugh from this one dude...goo on ya! Thanks for watching and I'm glad I could help :)

  • She never found out about the bowl.

If she ever knew about all that filthy muck I had in that bowl she'd probably demand a divorce.

    te, he

  • John do you have a video for what to do if you've cleaned the p trap and it still won't drain?

  • UR THE MAN!!!! CUTE KID TOO....Thanx alot

  • It is my pleasure! Really glad it was helpful :)

  • thi is the best instruction vid about uncloging sinks :D

    Thank you a lot ^^.

You saved me, I didn't know how to fix my girlfriend's sink lol :))

  • LOL! That's awesome man, I'm glad I could help you save the day! Cheers, and thanks for watching bro!

  • alright i have a new problem... after i dug into the ptrap there's nothing in there. and my auger would not go any further.. it seems something is blocking it and narrow the passage for my tools to dig any further. can u help me?

  • Ok now that I have undone all the pipe that was so full of gunk, it still wont drain properly as I am female and it is sat night (yeah sad I know lol) what can you suggest that I would have at home to be able to push further into the drain pipe as I am going to undo it again. Please HELP!

  • hey curvy, sorry I'm replying so late! I was out of town this weekend for a bit. So your P-trap is clear and it's still not draining properly? There is one more method you can use without getting an auger or snake, I will post that method this evening and send you a personal message after work explaining it.

  • Hey John, stay tuned this evening, I'm going to be posting another video offering an alternative method of unclogging your sink if clearing the p-trap isn't effective. I will also send you a personal message after I get off work, explaining it. Sorry for the late response man!

  • god thanks tht vid really helped a lot now i can really brush my teeth and all tht other good stuff (great kid)

  • Glad it helped! :)

  • cool dude. like ur vid

  • thanks!

  • Thanks for the Vid.. Now I can fix the sink myself instead of asking the old man to do it for me... :) even tho Im sure its clogged from all his hair.. thanks again...and one handed even...kudos to you

  • haha! Thanks!

  • Most of the plumbing problems I have can be cured with a rank 12 Shadowbolt, a few DOTs and a Searing pain if the job is especially nasty.... :P

  • I like your style! Very PvP lol...You watch my WoW vid or is this someone I know? :)

  • As one warlock said to the other, you have some very Dark Virtues......

  • by the way dude, we all miss you!!! :)

  • GAH! I miss you guys too!

  • That's awesome! I'm really glad this video helped! I try to never use Drano, etc, as I've seen more problems caused by those that solutions LOL! But I am really happy to be of some help :)

Thanks for watching and let me know if you have any requests :)

  • loved the video bro! keep it up! Oh yeah...for those people trying this out, if your sink is FULL of water be very careful removing the pipe underneath because the water can SPRAY IN YOUR FACE! OMG!!!

  • HAHA! Yeah you said it man...a full sink can mean a wet face if you're not careful lol! Thanks for watching B!

  • did your kid say "piss out youtube " haha :D cute son, good and informative video.. now i know how to fix the sink in my house :D, when ever my mom will mess it up with hair..

But how do u fix the sink in the bath tub??? is it possible

  • lol Thanks! If you're talking about unclogging your bathtub, then I sure do! My next vid will be how to do tha tactually dso stay tuned! Thanks for watching!

  • i've had to do this several times before, and it got to a point where the clog was past the P-trap and going down under the house. I used an auger to try and dislodge it, but i guess i didn't get the auger all the way through because i still had a major clog. So let Liquid Plumber sit in my sink for an hour and WHOOSH (that's right, WHOOSH) the clog was gone. I guess if i had of used Liquid Plumber in the first place i woulda saved a bunch of time. Basically- easiest way is Liquid Plumber. :-)

  • Hey WWM! Yeah sometimes the clog is just too far down to reach by conventional means. I don't mind using Liquid Plumber, Drano, and products like that, but it's been my experience (and I've had plenty lol) that it's not always effective. When it is though, it kicks ass to here that WHOOSH! lol. There is one other moethod for dealing with clogs farther down that I will post in a few days, that can also be used for bathtubs. It's a little strange but it works lol. Thanks for watching!

  • I've also used a plunger to plunge the sink before. I got a little excited and things got REALLY messy lol.

Got a question- did you remember to re-attach your pop up plug before you ran water after this video? lol I've forgotten that before, scares ya when you think you've sprung a leak the next day you use it. :)

Like your brother, i also noticed you did it all with one hand- cudos! Well done. haha Shows just how simple unclogging your drain can be.

  • Ha! Yea I've forgotten to replace the pop up assembly before and scared me too lol, but I managed to remember this time :) My next vid will actually be on how to unclog your tub/sink with a plunger, good call lol! Thanks again for tuning in man..

  • rofl, awesome kid xD

  • LOL thanks Sandman! He kind of stole the show in this one :) Thanks for watching!

  • FABULOUS VID!!! Thanks so much for posting ;-)

  • Hahah, your BEST video yet man. Connor was hilarious, I also love the "...pipe wrench...." lol. So funny. I'm also impressed that you did the whole video 1 handed! I guess unclogging a sink isn't nearly as complicated as I thought, I definitely won't be calling a plumber if it gets clogged. Do you ever wear latex gloves while you work? I wear them all the time when I am wrenching on bike stuff to keep all the oil and crap off my hands.

  • Glad you liked it man :) Lol I didn't realize i did the whole thing with 1 hand till you said something lol. As far as gloves go, I rarely wear any kind of gloves unless it's to keep my hands warm. I find that they usually end up interfering more than helping, just means I have to wash my hands more, and that they look like clubs lol. Thanks for watchin' bro!
