Optimal is 12 seconds, it looks like he is less than two. Also the SUV did not have the brakes applied and coasted into the intersection. Well, yes, but speed makes a given collision far worse. A stupid driver will get in a collision no matter what, but a collision at 120 kph is far more deadly than one at fifty.

There is no way to tell if speed contributed to this accident. He could have been within the law. The main factor is he was not looking far enough ahead. Optimal is 12 seconds, it looks like he is less than two. Also the SUV did not have the brakes applied and coasted into the intersection. The pedestrians (although not at fault) should look both ways before crossing.

What a stupid ad, the damage to the celica was so minimal, the size of the suv would've stopped the celica b4 it BUMPED her into the woman crossing the street, and any time i cross the street i usually run why would i slowly walk where theres cars driving. Actually the cecila had a speed, whereas the suv was stationary before the crash, so the momentum shifts to the suv after the crash and with a bigger mass it's gunna make more of a mess.

Drivers are stupid. Over 100 yrs since the automobile was invented, everyone knows that speed can be dangerous, but they still do it anyways. When they die, they don't learn anything, so I'm happy when speedsters ends up in a wheelchair, that's 1 less speedster in ours streets.
