Hearing the original lyrics really put a new light on this song. It was always a sad and touching song, but now that I know what it was originally trying to say it's pretty heartbreaking.

i prefer the lyrics in the demo! starting with "when your nineteen call me" and ending with "i was nineteen, calling"! really touching and easy to relate to. instead of the recorded song its "i was nineteen, call me" and "i was nineteen, calling". the demo makes more sence....

From the studio version I mean.

This doesn't sound bad. but I prefer the studio one.

But boy, the people they worked with, the band, and themselves really know how to make a good song great.

And this is proof.

That's why I like hearing demos.

I get to see/hear progress and sometimes I mix that and the finished product in my head, so when I sing it, I'd sing the notes that I think sound better.
