Tonight's the first night i have EVER heard of this man not to mention hear this man sing........i'm blown away........he has such control and an awesome tone of voice..............Amazing, to say the least :)

If you do not enjoy his stlye make no mistake there are those of us whom he touches deeply. God has given him a talent and his approach to its use is moving.

@harryandsimba , it takes a great deal of vocal control and skill to be able to make your voice "warble" like that. He is singing properly, and hitting each and every note. You don't have to like him to appreciate his voice, but if you understand music you will respect his talent.
Someone mentioned that this man, Aaron Neville, "is horrible!!!" Like bibledoctrine, you are entitled to your own opinion and I 2nd that. HOWEVER, with all due respect, you have never been so wrong. In my opinion. Mr. Neville's voice hand made by God Almighty himself. That's how POWERFULLY SPIRITUAL this man's agelic voice is. He can sing at any Sunday service and it will penetrate you. Can you imagine had he done this at 9/11 ground zero right after those attacks? Lord Jesus Almighty!!

I've posted another comment on another one of Aaron's songs, but I have a terminal illness, and when I die, I think the angels will sound like his voice. He is absolutely amazing, and I'd give anything to be able to see him in concert just once! This is the song that I am going to have played at my funeral. I love his voice so much, and it breaks my heart to see ANY negative comments about him. I was raised that if you can't say something nice, not to say anything. Thank God for Aaron's gift.

Aaron Neville also did a stunning performance of the Ave Maria fron his album The Tattooed Heart. A definate must listen for those who need their hearts elevated when it is low and broken. So it's 1986 and I'm at the Red River Revel in Shreveport, Louisiana and I'm watching this band just completely laying down the hugest funk this California boy had ever heard. Then this massive dude with a mole above his right eye and looking like a convict comes out and with a voice that sounded like spun gold sings Amazing Grace to a stunned crowd. I felt redeemed right then and do now as I listen to Brother Aaron lay it down again.

Sorry to hear you think for I too many years ago argued that God did not exist. Today of course I do know and I am thankful. Then this massive dude with a mole above his right eye and looking like a convict comes out and with a voice that sounded like spun gold sings Amazing Grace to a stunned crowd. I felt redeemed right then and do now as I listen to Brother Aaron lay it down again.

Sorry to hear you think for I too many years ago argued that God did not exist. Today of course I do know and I am thankful. I hope that one day in this lief you will to know that God does indeed exist and that you will come to know Christ as your Saviour like I did. I had to admit that the Bible was correct when it says that "the fool hath said in his heart there is no God". I came to realize that there is none good there is none righteous for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

This is great. But he sang this better, but just can't remember where I heard him sing it before. You got that right, his voice is a gift and is definitely unique.
