How would i go about achieving multiple colors? Such as blacks for outlines, and color on the inside. For pure example lets say i was to do a superman symbol.
ive just used contact paper w the same methods, heard vinyls a lot better and more consistent. what does adding acetone to the water do anyways, i know you guys didn't use it, but was just wondering. You guys ever bottom die? should do a video of those. ive got ducks all over the bottom of my rex. great vid!!
Hey Joe, no need to dispose of the leftover dye, put it in a jar or tupperware and save it for your next project!
If you do need to dump some, it's not a problem, especially if you have a stainless steel sink. Just keep the water running and rinse it away. Be aware though, that the Rit can and will stain linoleum and formica and such. Thanks for watching!
bad ass looking disc. thanks for the videos guys, much appreciated.

@xXxSharkGreeNxXx
if you add weight and or thickness such as paint or stickers it is no longer pdga approved.
plus the dye stays. paint wears and chips

These videos are great! Thanks so much for taking the time to put them together.
Quick question...
Can the dye stain metal? In other words, do I want to use an old pot or pan?
fuckyougeorgebush 3 years ago
the dye is all over my kitchen but it washes out(in time). I use frying pans for easy access.(no handles needed ;)
Beware of getting the dye on your hands too.
I was once at a jobinterview with blue hands...
Champion plastic works too,same as pro BUT there is nothing better than STAR plastic.
Discraft is the same way but I find it hard to get those stamps off(done with acetone btw).

I've never worked with Rit before - what's the process of disposing of the leftover dye? Will it stain the sink? I rent, so it's an issue for me.
Nice design, btw
