I have a couple of questions. Is throat singing a common practice? I know that it seems to be practiced mostly in the northern area in canada, does people dance to it also?
throat singing, inuit used this to pass time, the goal was to see who would burst out laughing first,it was to have a good time still is, was sort of like a game back in the day,
Hey, I'm an Inuk <-(that's a person) n Inuit are from Great White North of canada n We're not Emskimo, who decided our names Emskimo, it was Europe who decided in the world differents each other counities' names, WE (inuit) decided name were INUIT!!! and very nice 2 inuit's real throat singing :P ur hotters :D
OH MY GOD! somebody was on my youtube account! I DIDNT MAKE THAT COMMENT!! the views expressed in this comment do not reflect my opinions!! whatever replies you had for this person are not my problem. and i agree, that person should go back to school. dumbass.
it does'nt matter what percentage of Inuk a person is!!!! People can be proud of where they come from no matter what! Even if just their ancestors are Inuit they can still be proud! Get real and grow up!
I actually picked this up a long time ago without realizing it, but I"m trying to get better at it now. You two are really good, I'm totally down with this.
that was amazing! I listen to Allacie and Lucy all day in my truck, you two are the younger version of those two world-known women. I can't wait to sound that old, take that as a complimant, ayungi!!
The singing is great. I suppose if you're a smoker like me you'd have difficulty doing a whole verse in one breath (lol). Great technique, rhythm, and notes--this is one of my favorites. The Mongolians and Tibetians have some interesting throat-singing styles as well.
FAAANTASTIC

Really awsome. I really enjoyed these ladies perform their unique and traditional culture, I hope this practice lives on. awsome...

Great performance, good rhythm and the laughing on the end by all of this performances is probably shyness.
Fortunately its still possible to hear this type of authentic music.
brigittedeval 4 years ago
they end up laughing because it's a game; they have to keep on rythm together

I don't understand, why do they always end up laughing at the end?
