That's a myth, airplane engines are built to handle birds going into them. They wouldn't bring one down.

@HomeworkHelper1 You're wrong. It can cause for emergency landing, if possible. Canadian geese have been known to cause problems.

A US Airways plane crashed into the Hudson River on Thursday afternoon after striking a bird that disabled two engines, sending passengers....
Anything made from the Earth is most likely doomed to being part of the Earth once again. It's just a matter of time and/or circumstance.
