Carol looks great on this clip, in the days before she got in the habbit of placing her hands on the letters BEFORE a contestant had chosen.

One little thing used to annoy me about Countdown of this era. During each round, as the clock ended its run to 30, the camera would change to Richard on the bong - with only 29 seconds showing! Countdown is about 30 seconds NOT 29! It would just be a matter of repositioning the music so that on the bong, all the lights are on. 8:05 - annoying!
