thank you for this video! so I can grow them on my own! How did you plant them? Did you just throw seeds on ground or what? What spacing does it requires, etc?
@artnikolapesic Hi there, yea just throw them on the ground & lightly rake them in, but you should just sprout them eat the sprouts or blend them in one of your super shakes. By the way I just Subscribed to your channel, Nice> Seme od konoplje: "Milkshake" sa bananom i jagodama (Hemp-seed milkshake.
@GTmuvman Thank you for your answer, and subscribing! I can't wait spring to plant my chia:) I already eat ground chia with mashed bananas, veeery tasty! And yes, hemp seeds are also amazing, but I can't grow them:((( at least legally:)
@artnikolapesic Yea Shame about the illegality it truly is one of god gifts in all its applications. Good luck with the Chia its a nice plant, ask the bees. Thank you for subscribing.
really nice of you to share your experience with us...I will ty it right away here in Florida..perrenial or annual?..looks like other salvias, so I'm guessing perrennial...
@GTmuvman I had a scooby doo chia pet with shaggy a while back...maybe I will try to grow some more of this out in my garden! Is it very useful to you? I don't know much about this...thanks....Rick.
@london1817 Well the seed is very Nutritious with 8 x more omega 3 than salmon & 15 X more magnesium than broccoli & 3 ox more iron than spinach & 3 ox more Anti-Oxidants than blueberry + about 20grams protein per 100 grams it kick ass. oops & 28 grams Dietary Fibre. But its hard to get lots of seed from the plant unless the conditions are rite, you would be better off buying a kilo then spout some seedlings for your salads.
Hi there, How many seeds (estimate) would you expect to harvest off a chia plant that big? I'm looking at growing a plant or more here in New Zealand. Any extra tips would be great. From John
