Oh boy...dumb GenYers learn how to reinvent the wheel. Duh...coil winders have been around for over 100 years. Ever watch a production torroid coil winder in action? Didn't think so.
I think you can use any plastic tube.. eg.. PVC pipe.. as long the thickness of the pipe not too thick it should be okay. For my project, I used the acrylic tube.
