hi, I would like to recommend a later movie called 'reign of assassins', by Michelle yeoh and John woo as co-director (2010). It's an ancient chinese movie about swordsmen, assassination, revenge and romance. A bit slow pace at first but I thought the whole story was beautiful, including the theme song. an underrated movie
