  • You can get an XCM fan pre-wired for $10 on ebay with free shipping.

You should also tape the gap between your fan shroud and the CPU heatsink to maximize cooling.

  • Guys I'll fix ur e74 error and install LEDs an a new 12v van for 100 bucks

  • @IHDesigns Dude fuck you. Nobodies gonna pay you $100 to fix their e74 and put a fan in. I can do that for less than $30.

  • dude good mod but crap game lol

  • hey what size fan is that ...70 mm?

  • that's a completely normal CPU/chassis fan from a computer, 80 mm

  • What's holding the fan in place?

Also, it looks like you tapped into the DVD drive power and wired in a resistor (the 8v mod). I'm planning to 8v mod the back fan. Any idea if the DVD power could handle the load of powering both fans this way?

and what size washers and screws did u use? i need help please some one!!

  • what did you use on the fan to make it stand on the board?

  • Depends on WHAT fix you did. If you used the TOWEL method then no. It will last 2 weeks max. If youve done the X Clamp method it should be good for years. Hopeing you dont get drive problems.
