Gorilla costumes don't make for great show choir. That's cheap. I get a better thrill from a dreidel. Wish I could say that I love this choreography, but I can't get over that lame gorilla.

This was NOT a high school production.  If it was, that school has one hellava theater, drama and dance department.

its considered good when the audience acts like that people stood at my dance recital at the finale and they went whooooooooo although on the saturday of it they didn't go whooo i don't think till they saw the first ballooon

WOW I LOVE this it's hard to belive that those are high school kids.

I get to sing and dance to this for a choir thing our version's a little different but pretty much the same words.

I saw the original on broadway in 1976 and the revival in 2006. And I think these high school kids were great - nothing to be ashamed about at all.

yes show choir does rule! this is a high school group and the guy dressed in black is in a gorilla suit... this was part of our extravaganza show last year and if i was to try and explain it, it'd take forever.. haha...

i've always loved this song! even thought i saw it like, a bajillion times last year, i still love it and i still am awed by all the transition!
