  • If it wasn't for food stamps I couldn't feed my 8 children or put gas in my car or subsidize my cell phone, or get help with my heat bill or have a subsidized housing so I have a warm place to have sex with my ex-wife (she gets mo help that away and mo free money means I have money to drive around in circles lookin for a job and, and I really appreciate LBJ's war on poverty and I'm sure glad taxpayers have lost that war or I would be working right now!!

  • He gets standing ovations from CONSERVATIVE audiences because he throws red meat to the spectators hungry for some morsel of acknowlegement. (He won't be getting these standing ovations in a regular, bipartisan debate.) I could imagine a power-mad President Newt as a corpulent Nero fiddling while Rome burned. He seems quite deluded with himself.

  • What also jerks my chain is his blatant assertion that *because* there are more people on food stamps, it's because of Obama's policies. Has this idiot been living under a rock? Hasn't he taken the time to find out that we've been enduring the worse recession since the Great Depression? OF COURSE there will be more people on food stamps.

  • Newt Gingrich is TRULY a pompous ass. His second wife said that this moron requested that they have an open marriage so that he could continue his little tryst with his current "wife".

    How ANYONE in the conservative camp can take this guy seriously is a mystery. I'm prepared to accept the notion that everyone in a conservative's life is little more than a stepping stone to their own personal gain. Nothing else makes any sense.
