they probably felt it did not fit in with the album. or it could be that the chili peppers wanted this to be a gift for true fans. only true fans would go and find their b-sides. and the b-sides cant be destroyed by the media by being put on the radio

Oh i know! I did too, and it was like a gift straight from the heavens.I put it on my ipod and listened to nothing but that for several months lol.I was craving new rchp at that point big time.And it was totally new to me. It was great! My favs are Million Miles of Water (specially that solo's FIRST wah-ey note).And the bounciness of bicycle song. In fact I learned a lot of those on guitar.Anyways my joy for those songs is uncontainable.Sadly my ipod god friend by a magnet Glad theyre here!

Yeah I know the feeling exactly, about craving more RHCP, except luckily I got the songs on two ipods plus made a hard copy on a disc. I'm never lettin those songs go. It's amazing when you hear the songs, it's like omg these are album-worthy, please release them! I'd say Funny Face is a great one, I love the reggae tones, million miles of water I listened to for a while too. 3 of their best live songs I found were Nothing To Lose, Brandy (cover) and I Get Around (cover). You gotta hear them :)

Well, no they aren't studio version, they are just live songs, but they are incredible for live versions. Nothing to lose is a 13 minute song they did live once, there's a huge jam in the middle of the song that is simply incredible. Brandy you can find on their 'Live in Hyde Park' album along with Leverage of Space' but if you really want them just tell me how to send them and I'll try to send 'em.
