you are obviously pulling too much power from the inverter.this could be caused by the voltage going too low or your stereo is
pulling too much wattage.

how big was the power supply ,supplying the 12V, i noticed the volt drop on the meter,just like any inverter it prefers 13.8-14.4V on the input to supply the full output power ,specs are based on ideal conditions.
