i was an only child and shared this type of bond with a cat growing up. he was my friend, entertainment and like a brother to me. taught me compassion for all living things and most important he showed me "that there is a place in your soul that remains unawakend until you recieved the love of an animal"

Linus looks to have a great life and we to have our dog inside as well as outside and some folks think were nuts for having him inside during the hottest part of the day or when its raining.
He does love,adores her. It'd very hard for him to play with her, if he had a tail. they are strong, When excited its like swinging a bat wildly blind folded. They are happy & made to stay clam as to not hurt anyone. My friends often put him up so their dog doesn't hit you. He stays sad, cause he is so loving and misses so much. So i see where Linus is free to show his emotions.And he is loving life. I think his tail being cropped helped him keep his loving outgoing personality.
You can't have a boxer with a long tail and let it play with babies. Boxer's tails are not docked for looks, they are docked for their own safety as well as safety to others. A boxers tail can do some serious damage if left un-docked. Same with there dew claws. They can take out an eye. Neither is done to a boxer for looks both are done for safety and within one week of birth. It's the equivalent of a circumcision. Now, docking their ears is a whole different thing and I totally appose that.
I too have an adorable fawn boxer (Daisy) and I love her to pieces! She is so good with my 4 grandkids. I love watching Linus play with your daughter!
@rocodoodledoo , slwoodyb is entirely right. I have a boxer and before he was one, he broke his tail TWICE. Boxers are known for their very strong muscled tails, and because they are a happy dog, that tail is swinging 10 to the dozen 24 hours a day! Boomers tail is now docxked and couldnt be happier. The puppies dont know the difference, its quick and painless, and forgotten a week later. Also Boxers are well know for their high tolerence of pain!....Just adding that in there!
@rocodoodledoo I don't recommend on docking dog's tails either but that's our opinion. There is no reason for becoming insulting. Naturally a dog is an animal which must obey to its leader's commands, by the way. And Linus is a wonderful dog as a result of its great leaders/owners - he would also be such a kind fellow with the whole length of his tail.
@rocodoodledoo I don't want to start a debate, but there are arguments in favour of docking a Boxer's tail. They are quite prone to tail injuries which are VERY painful for the dog and many have to have the procedure done later in life as a result. That is far more painful than when when they are first born. I respect your opinion, but Linus was already docked when we got him and I believe it was done out of love and intended to save him from potential pain later in life.
@slwoodyb Agree with you completely about the tail. I have known a boxer with a tail that had to be removed later due to injury. Very painful. Appreciate the soft ears on your Linus! I love the way it makes them looks. So much softer.
@slwoodyb yes i had a boxer and here (in Ireland) it is illegal to dock a dog's tail for cosmetic reasons but it would be difficult to find a boxer who's tail isn't because of the reasons you mentioned, my boxed never had a problem expressing himself, he used to wiggle his whole body haha! @slwoodyb It is not cruel to do this. Have you ever felt a Boxer's tail?? It's like a whip. If they had a long tail it would be very painful. And YES they are very prone to injury due to their energy level. They are puppies when this is done and I doubt they feel much. By the way this video is adorable. I love Boxers! Truly the best dogs!!

Linus is one of the reasons we went on a search for a boxer (or, at least, how I convinced my husband!). Such a sweet boy, he is! Our boy is now 5 months old and a joyful addition to our home! Keep posting! Ur videos are great!

That is the one of the MOST ridiculous things that anyone has ever said in life! Obviously you know nothing about the Boxer breed or dogs in general. Studies show that children who are raised with dogs, grown up to be much more loving than children without. These videos are GREAT and bring smiles to many faces. It's been great watching this child grow with her dog.
I think he thinks she's a puppy. :) For as stalky as he is he tries to be gentle with her, you can see it in his face that he knows when to back off a bit when she loses her balance. So cute. :)
Moments like this are what make me love boxers so much. I had one until recently and can say they really are the truest friends a man can hope to have. Ever careful and protective towards their family; and loyal until the end.

My brother is on his third Boxer.. they are all amazin... and beautiful souls.. I still miss our Xena.. and Zeus.. they were true family.. with my nephew and our family. His new boy Kaine is equally amazing.. what loves..

Your daughter's little giggles, happiness, and how she falls here and there with Linus,it's just adorable and cute. You're very lucky.It makes me miss again when my daughter was younger and my dogs.(My dogs are in heaven).The good thing about videos' is you'll always have their memories and love on it. That is the one of the MOST ridiculous things that anyone has ever said in life! Obviously you know nothing about the Boxer breed or dogs in general. Studies show that children who are raised with dogs, grown up to be much more loving than children without. These videos are GREAT and bring smiles to many faces. It's been great watching this child grow with her dog.

I think he thinks she's a puppy. :) For as stalky as he is he tries to be gentle with her, you can see it in his face that he knows when to back off a bit when she loses her balance. So cute. :)
