Interesting video. The cost to build this house is about the same to build our house in the province of Saraburi. The shape of our house is different, and not as nice as yours. We built our house about 6 years ago.
Great project Pierre, and well done.Hope you and Phlooy have many decades of good health & happiness in your new domain. In Canada I would be lucky to pay $16k(labour cost) to have Only my Basement completed, and there you have a solid, well built home, remember to put Thoui on your annual X,mas list :)
@bleekit I was living in Quebec. My sister's husband made a "garage" for the cars and paid more than 50,000 $ CND!!! Our house is pretty and confortable. I enjoy living here!!
i live near the polo park near tung klung tan man near hui yai........i will be building in the same area and would like to use local tradesmen.did u have any problems with your build or the builders following the plans to your requirements....any infomation u have on the builders would be great.my email is mikehickshull@gmail.com if u think of anything worth knowing......many thanks
Hi,do u still have number for the buiders u used.did u say u got them from pattaya.i am shortly starting a build in nong prue just outside pattaya and would like to talk with thease men about doing the work for me.......does he speak enough english to communicate with u through the build and did u have a good relashionship whilst work was been completed.
@mikehickshull His phone's number is 082 210 8764. He is in Nong Wua So working for a friend for maybe 1 or 2 weeks. But Thoui doesn't speak english. Yu must have thai people to communicate with him. But I know he will go back in the Nongprue Region after that contract because he is living there. His wife and kids are living there. I was living in Nongprue before in fact I was in Ekmongol-4 on Soi Khao Talo.
I like the way to put the electic wires IN the wall it much better than ON the wall it look too busy but most people do b'coz it cheaper. Please give this message to you wife. Thanks
@MsBooyah2010 I read and write thai already. Yes, we are only two peoples living in the house and there's only one room because we do not want anybody to live with both of us! Thanks for saying our house is pretty. I like it because it is a small house but nice and confortable.
Where the builder bought those blocks from. It look less job then small red blocks but look stronger than normal blocks(gray blocks). Thanks for the info.
@MsBooyah2010 He bought them from a local store. But I think it's availaible anywhere in Thailand. After the house's construction, we fixed two air cons, I can say you that those blocks are strong enought to support them. What is really good for me: they can cut it as wood so the electric wires and all the plumber are IN the wall, not ON the wall as they use to do very often!!!
Very nice house. Your wife live not far from me I live in Tembon Nong hi. We planning to building thai house as well. How long was take to you build this house. Thanks for the info.
Very nice house, I just started to build my new house this month, How do you like the white blocks, I know they are easy to work with, But are they string enough?
@lifeinthailand I was concerned about those blocks but I was wrong. They are strong enought because Home Pro came to fix two air cons and the blocks can support the compressors. The big one is pretty heavy and we didn't have any problem. With those blocks it is very easy to have the wires and plumbing pipes in the wall not "on" the wall.
@pierrebeaud Thats good news, My builder recommended them but I did have my concerns. They look so easy to work with, Much better than the little small red blocks. Thanks for the info.
@inuit1963 Thank you very much for that comment. My wife Phlooy tried to hire a builder here in Nong Wua So and they wanted between 800 000 and 1 200 000 for that house that was builded by Thouï and his team... We found him in Pattaya and he has agreed to come here in Isaan for building our house. I am very lucky!
