"Those Shoes" is not about literal shoes (stripper or otherwise hot) It's a song about choosing or being caught up in a specific lifestyle. Ever heard of walking in a person's shoes.....not really a question, well, the point is that once you slip on a way of living, you can't always have your cake and eat it too. She can't want to known or be this type of girl if she decides to "wear" another pair of shoes. Her best Sunday shoes probably reveal a few raw places on her toes or ankles....
