on a straight line the V8 wins, on a track with lots of corners, wich is the most common, STi is KING! Yeah on that situation, excessive power is indeed useless.

actually it's the uel headers that give subaru's that trademark sound, if you watch a video of a wrx or a sti with uel headers they sond a lot different.

I know a lot of wrx and sti owners. Of course an STi is going to sound different than a WRX. But the heart of the sound comes from the engine.

no the sounds does not come from the engine, it only comes from the UN-equal headers... type in wrx or sti EQUAL headers... you will see what i mean... and STI's do not sound different than a wrx
