Sorry to hear of your condition. Read ancestralblue below. Low dose long term antibiotics have had some success too, although, ancestralblue's solution is better. General theory is antibody-antigen complexes lodging in the small vessels around the joint and inflammation occuring to break up the complexes and incidental damage and swelling to the joint. These antigens can come from dietary sources/poor digestion. Poor antibody response causing the complexes is the other-failure of IgA etc.

Hey Russell glad to see you're back.  I also have rheumatoid arthritis and there is an answer to it that doesn't involve prednisone. It's from the Robert McFerran diet for rheumatoid arthritis. I've been on one version of it for five years and my arthritis is now very much under control. Please google it. It's very effective and read what the actual cause is. Happy healing friend!
