Man, I never really realized how tall Ryan was because most of the American cast is 6 foot or close to, now he is actually around people of normal height before he does look really, really tall. And it was a good way to get the partially-inebriated audience at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas in the mood for some improvisational comedy! :oD

If you watch him on other shows as a guest, he's not shy at all. I think at this stage he was just having to be very aware of what might be bad taste for TV viewing, since he was the host. He was also probably fully aware of how fast stand-up comedians will run with any sexual references. :)
