  • Great story behind the VAN MEETING..

Your remember me that I still got 10 pounds in my wallet from the last UK trip..LOL.. Oh I miss BBC Radio.. So funny.. I loved the morning shows...

Nice crane and brilliant video as always.. Never get disappointed..

  • @aid2003 VOLVO POWER..LOL

    Or stupid driver??

  • @aid2003 Yes definitely VOLVO Power! and his tea was getting cold me thinks... :-)

  • @aid2003 You look after that £10 it may come in handy if you return to the UK sometime, you never know.

I tune into Radio 1 if Im out early, 6:30 till 10am then I switch to Radio 2 for traffic updates and other presenters after that...

Well Im glad you enjoyed another journey in the good ship Sprinter, you may not be driving in England these days, but I'll keep you posted with tales of the UK.

Thanks Andy - Have a great weekend from me :-)♕

  • Bloomin heck it was busy , some nice camera angles , enjoyed this very much !

  • @G22PRODUCTIONS Glad you enjoyed it, least I know Im doing something along the right lines... ha ha

Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated. :-)

  • hi paul, know i now why i do muti drop, M25 on friday night ahh ! looks like your steering wheel is going the same way as mine, to much wear and tear ...Drive safe great vid as always

  • @scarletshaz Nightmare!! LOL - Yes my steering wheel is going proper crap looking, my old van just went smooth, but these new ones lose the black look. Drivers seats wear out too with constant getting in and out...

Cut backs in the materials by the looks of things from Mercedes. :-)

  • friday night on the m25 is a nightmare .Usely the friday i go to the north via M11 A14 M6 ,it is always better than to M40 ,the M25 is always Q ing from J11 to J 18

the boxing glove is still at the same place and makes circles in the air

have a good weekend my friend Pat

  • @7784Patrick It was either this way, or back across the Dartford Crossing, both had massive traffic jams, I was torn... LOL I too go the M11 - A14 way sometimes, but even that has its problems on Fridays. Anywhere is a nightmare on a Friday in england.. ha ha.

I often wonder where the Boxing glove is going next Patrick LOL

Take care and have a good week next week.

    Enjoy your Sunday.

    Paul :-)

  • I think I've done that route as well, you make it look so easy! Another enjoyable trip, well done!

  • @DIANEK1960 Such kind words, thank you for joining me... :-)

  • Haha nice traffic jam, not.

What happens if you don't have any money at the toll, can they send a bill home or have you to turn around and go back?

Nice VW at the end Paul.

  • @Jobergg I dont know the answer to that question, I've never done it. I would imagine they would get you to pull over, and a Police officer would come across and take your details. Police are situated here all the time, so Im guessing thats what would happen. It happened many years ago to me in Liverpool using the Mersey Tunnel, I had no money, they sent me a bill to my home for the fee... ha ha

Yes I have seen VW Fire Camper Vans on ebay in the past for sale. They certainly look different. :-)

  • Didn't you have 2 pound coins on you? haha. Vans are only 50p more than cars, so that doesn't sound too bad... But I'm not the one paying for it :D

  • @04smallmj Nothging worse than having to break into a crisp 10 pound note just to pay a toll... Grrr :-) even worse is getting 8 quids worth of pound coins in return... more Grrrr :-)

My van still only has for wheels.... LOL

  • Thanks Paul. The 25 is a pig on Fridays...On Thursday its a bunny rabbit!......Mike

  • @modemeyes I travelled to Guildford today, M25 was running as smooth as silk in both directions, but then again its half term for the kids and it wasn't the rush hour, so I was a happy bunny today...

    Thanks Mike :-)

  • Fantastic job Paul,

Yes small world Paul, its interesting and fun what you meet another Sprinter :) Big traffic jam there. M25 its one of the main England motorway?

Volvo driver is really extreme, great pass :)

    Have a nice day.

    Liudvikas.

  • @VolvoFHV8 If ever you come to England beware of the M25, it can either very nice or a complete nightmare, all depends on lady luck being with you. The M25 circles around London, and is also used by the trucks heading for europe through Dover. Its seriously busy, but a main route for lots of people.

That was one fast Volvo, he must have a non limited engine, I was doing 100km/h on cruise control on a flat road, he passed me very easy... LOL

    Thank you Lludvikas :-)

  • Glove missing; cloned card. You haven't met up with any dodgy people recently have you?

Well this was nearly 5 mins of me being half glad Mr Medical Man still won't let me drive :-)

    Good catch with the Sprinter.

  • @TruckingInTheUK Funny you should mention that, I have been liaising with a chap who had a funny accent just recently, sounded just like someone from ello ello :-)

You stay where you are son, you don't want to be going on that horrible M25 just yet, its sending me grey, believe it or not I once looked just like Cleo Lane, all lovely black hair down my back, now look at me, five foot nothing and a hump on my back... LOL.

The Sprinter meet was so uncanny, imagine the timing of that.

    Thanks Ian :-)

  • Whats the chances Paul...of meeting with your stablemate...Amazing how things happen. LoL...and it did look busy on the M25..nice to be aboard, thanks for the ride Paul. :-))

  • @007vauxhall Glad you could join me Paul, same old M25. It didn't earn the name of biggest car park in europe without good reason... LOL

Situations like that, I want to be up inside a helicopter to see whats going on up front, and to see whats causing the hold up. Just volume of traffic no doubt.

    Thanks Paul :-)

  • Hey Paul what did that just cost you mate 6 pounds at the pay booth

downunder it costs us (Melbourne) $7 each way just to travel a couple of kms in a tunnel , its meant to cut down travel time LOL ( cut down the time you have a dollar in your pocket maybe)

  • @colinj58 I fetched a ten pound note out, but it only cost 2 pound for a van, its free during the dead of night.

Seems the same the world over eh? any way of getting money out of the good old motorist...

Im sure someone said to me ages ago, that when that bridge Im on was built, they were only going to charge a toll for a couple of years or so, until they had recouped the money spent building it.

Except on ones told them to stop charging people, they must rake in hundreds of thous every day.

    THX

  • Excellent Paul, the good old M25,never changes does it?............

  • @johnwood57 Nope you can say that again... soon as I got the job, I knew I was in for a late one getting home...

And to cap off the day, my bank contacted me to say someone has cloned my card details and tried to spend a big sum of money on something, which they didn't ok thankfully for me. What a Friday eh? LOL

    Thanks John

  • Very good Paul! You are lucky to find in the traffic your Sprinter stable mate, it is very similar to your but i saw that now him called Dreambedz :-)

4:10 that Volvo truck runs good , maybe is hurry or hungry of road :-))

    Ciao!

  • @sprinter977 I know that was unbelievable to see, I instantly recognised his vehicle reg plate. He still does courier work he said, but he also works in delivering beds too.

I think that Volvo had a Tiger in his tank... ha ha or his food was getting cold back home.

    Thanks Gabriel :-))

  • very cool video...

    hug from brazil

  • @fabiano1041 Many hugs and much happiness to you too Fabiano and Brazil - Greetings from a very windy England :-)

  • The typical friday-aternoon jam - the same here in Germany every week.

    02:55 - 03:49 What kind of monster-vehicle is this????

Nice to meet the "brother" (or sister?) of your Sprinter :-)

    Greetings from Kiel

    Nils

  • @multivan2001 That vehicle, Im assuming, was a mobile crane of some description Nils, they fold away into that thing what you saw next to me, I think. No idea how tall it is when its fully extended. I thought Germany were big builders of those kinds of machine? - Liebherr ? It looked like one, it had counter balance weights on the rear end.

Yes meeting my Sprinters brother / sister sure made my day, I do enjoy a good meeting... ha ha as you well know.

Thanks Nils :-) Happiness from a windy UK

  • Good old radio 2 gets me through the day!

  • @05clenharth Yes and me too, I listen to the traffic reports quite a lot. I enjoy both Jeremy Vine and Steve Wright on the afternoons... :-)

  • Hi Paul, I agree with the first comment by Mike, an Englishman abroad always dreams of home - I know I do here in Northern Ireland. A poser for you, the variable speed limit around Heathrow - Highways Agency said when that was first installed that by slowing traffic you reached your destination quicker. That means if you stop under the speed limit signs you instantaneously arrive at your destination! Think about it - LOL

  • @reversecone Well all I can say is some bugger got his calculations wrong... ha ha as you can see by the evidence shown on a Friday afternoon, it aint working. :-) We have the same system now around Birmingham on the M42 - past my place too, they do work to a point, providing people use it correctly, which they don't. You cant quantify for idiots can you. When I was 18 I went to St Tropez on my motorbike, soon as I got back to Dover, I considered myself home, even tho I was still 200 miles away

  • Fabulous videos buddy.... What cam are you using? I have been using a DOD GS600 GPS dash cam on my road clips.... Love your channel... I lived in Portland Road Aldridge from 1993 to 2008 when I moved out to Kelowna BC Canada and I cam to Waterford Ireland May 2010... Your videos are making my home sick... I miss the UK and I'll be back one day.... All the very best, Mike Cole (Retired CMPG)

  • @MikePColeStudioPro Wow! thanks for such a glowing comment. Im truly humbled. :-)

All I use is a HD Panasonic camcorder, about 3-4 years in age now, so not the latest thing around, but I enjoy using it. I bought it on a whim from QVC shopping channel, it cost me just over £300 back then. In one of my old videos, you can see what equipment I use, just search for what equipment I use. its there somewhere.

Im sure where you live is just as nice as the UK,

Glad you enjoy a little of my world

    THX

  • love the video paul! Drive safe! jan

  • @FreightlinerTrucking Thanks Jan, I'll do that. Thanks for watching. :-)

  • Much traffic Paul, pleasant British stroll 5 *****

  • @Theoscense1 Typical Friday in these parts of the Uk, too many people on the move at the wrong time.

Glad you could join me, always a pleasure. :-)

  • Very Nice Paul, Nice shot of the big Spiering tower crane!

  • @heavyhaulage1 Soon as I spotted that crane, I thought of you. Not often I get stuck along side one of these beauties in traffic. so made a nice change from the usual trucks, etc.

    Thanks for joining me :-)

  • @Bevoin1970 Thanks Paul! Much appreciated pal. Keep the awesome video coming!

  • That's some real traffic you got there ... imagine if there was no highway LOL . BTW your Sprinter is nicer hehe :) Cheers !

  • @bogdanwhitesnake I often think back to the days when we in the UK didn't have all these modern day motorways to drive along. Im so glad I wasn't driving in those days, and yet sometimes when you look at footage like this you often wonder have things really improved that much...

I love my Sprinter... ha ha :-))

    many thanks for watching

  • Good video Paul, I suspect that traffic had your blood pressure up a bit. I know it does mine in those situations

  • @pwalpar It calmed down quite a lot after my brief chit chat with the other van driver across the traffic, was a funny moment. Certainly put a huge smile on my face Walter.. LOL

  • remembering that van god bless ur memory paul lol loved that crispy 10 pound note mmm

    also love that acdc tune

  • @birdman404 Crisp 10 pound note no more, that woman turned it into a pocket full of coins... ha ha - Yes to think I could have bought that van, odds on meeting at that point must be staggering.

    Thanks though :-)

  • I know you're mad Paul and this proves it...M25 on a Friday.....no way....Having said that you've managed another Gem of a video, full of humour and human interest. It was amazing to see the twin.....although why he still remembers you I can't imagine....:o))....Supa Dupa as always....Bob

  • @robmasterman Thats true, I am a tad barking. No option though Mr Bob, customer calls the shots, and its money in the bank for me. Seeing that van, on that bridge, you try to work it out, I have driven 150 miles to get there, chances of meeting at that same time, staggering! - Certainly put a smile on my face as we briefly exchanged chit chat about our respective vans whilst in the traffic.. ha ha. He's a nice bloke too.

    THX as always Bob.. :-)

  • Very very good Paul i like :))

  • @truckernacion Thanks Alberto, many beers for you :-)

  • Nice video

  • @szmitz Thank you :-)

  • Oh how I miss peaceful London, NOT..lol. You would have got good odds at the bookies on meeting that bloke again Paul. Fast Volvo true enough..haha

    Cheers for posting mate.

    Andy.

  • @TransMuir65 I sometimes forget you used to drive down south, so yes this must be a tasteful reminder of what your not missing.. ha ha. I did say the day we met, I'd keep my eyes open next time I was down his way. Had the shock of my life when I spotted his reg plate. I drew alongside, we glanced across at each other, smiled, windows down, and I shouted... "Oi Savaloy" remember me? LOL was a funny moment. Thats the 1st time I've had a smile on my face in the Dartford crossing traffic.

    THX Andy

  • Good evening tomorrow morning I resume(take back) the work I fetch apres you on the road good week

  • @lavadrouille1 Have a good trip and a safe journey, I shall look out for you... Bonne Route :-)

  • Good day Paul. Nice video, nothing like a toll booth to take your money. We have some in Canada that are $3.00 an axle. When i pull two trailers with the truck and trailers i have eight axles and i am out $24.00. Good thing the company pays me back. Have a great week my friend.

    Harry

  • @SuperSherriff1 Glad I only have two axles then.. ha ha - then again it soon mounts up, If I cross this same bridge during the night, its free. Driving inside London's inner mile costs £10 per day too. Add to that any speeding tickets, parking tickets and so on... :-)

Thanks for joining me Harry. :-)

  • Where abouts in Tunbridge Wells did you go ? I live in Tonbridge ! Great video by the way .

  • @ba2775 I had a delivery on Spa Park Ind Est, Longfield Road, TN2 - Thanks for watching, remind me not to go there late on a Friday afternoon again... LOL

  • 'Don't use the M25 on a Friday afternoon' A piece of advice I must remember, thanks Paul.

  • @drummingriffin Yeah me too I think for next time.. LOL :-)
