  • Its got to be Tis Was' Any band with Roy Wood as lead singer is good enough for me. I have a promo in my collection' great fun to play and to have a line up' it must have been a gas to get together and get into the studio.

Phil Lynott will be remembered and never forgotten. Roy Wood is the Man. Chas Is Still Rockin' But who was the Drummer.

  • @MrVinylmaster I may be wrong but think its Bev Bevan ex Electric Light Orchestra (though he played with other bands)

  • this is a cool video of Philip Lynott doing all difrent songs with the guy out of chaz and dave and roy wood I think I'm not too sure but this is one of the best videos I've seen with Philip Lynott in it.

  • A great line-up, It's good to see artists from different bands, working together

  • Thanks for this WillbaDissidente. Every time I experience something I've not seen/heard that involved Phil I feel we lost his fight with addiction, not him. It was sad, tragic, not surprising. His death may have left a hole but he left so much to smile about behind. Long live PL.

  • never knew this existed!

  • DOGS!!!!!

  • "New Romantic"?? My arse!

  • @xeractus Its called Irony, you fucking stupid idiot prick of an arsehole.

    Bit harsh,sorry.

  • @xeractus well, at least roy wood has dye in his hair........

  • I was going to post this myself, but a quick search showed that you beat me to it! THanks for sharing!

  • WOW !!! This is great ! I just found that I have the 12" 45 and just burned it to CD.

I was trying to figure out who sang what. This certainly helps. Thanks for posting this video !!!

  • Fantastic clip! In my opinion, one of Roy's finest moments!

  • A rare clip indeed! Thanks for sharing it with us. One thing though,,, that's not John Coghlan on drums. Looks like the ELO's Bev Bevan to me.

  • That guys faking the piano... the glissando goes down, his hands don't move.

  • @hippyandchicky Yeah, I noticed that. There's a bit where the glissando goes upwards, and his hand goes downwards. Also, he's playing too low down the register to get the sound the piano's making. Pity they're miming the instruments.

  • FUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • amazing every time I watch it! Love it - thank you again

  • thank you for puting this on as a big thin lizzy fan i did not no owt about this

  • Wow, Roy and Phil together???

I didn't know. (And this looks a little like a Monty Python bit.)

In The State, both never got the fame they deserved. (Thin Lizzy only had a song or two that got airplay. And The MOve? I was the only person that bought their records I guess)

  • On refection has JC been replaced by Bev Bevan from ELO?

  • Thanks for your comments! At this time Bev Bevan was playing with Ian Gillan's Black Sabbath. The former ELO drummer was on tour (Born Again) with Gillan, Iommi and Butler from August 1983 to March 1984.
