Yeah! I remember that trick... It's supposed to give you a really high jump. But there's also a glitch with it, you don't die when you fall in pits. You lose all your life but you're still alive. You can't shoot your mega buster though if you do that since you have no life so you're technically "dead"

i could swear you have never played this game in your life based on your playing of this level. also, you shouldn't go by the NES PLAYER'S GUIDE recommended order, its a lot less efficient that way
