  • Why is Elma an expert at screaming?

  • LMAO. I'm glad they didn't release it outside japan. You assholes can go cry about it now.

  • Uhh... What does she say at 0:37?

  • OwO omg!? why doesn't this exist?

  • Im assuming the telekinesis attack has an eject effect on it or something, lol but why did Elma still say "ow" if she was immune to it haha.

  • @ThundagaT2 Cause someone lifted her up into the air...and then dropped her. Lol

  • if i were to get the international/last mission version from eBay, would it be in just Japanese if my copy of FF X-2 is American?

  • CURSE YOU AGAIN JAPAN!!!!

  • See this is why i hate america sometimes -______- japan never gave us this version of the game becasue they wanted to mock us. Didn't they give it to europe though?

  • @ainmelover321 Nope

  • @ainmelover321 Nope. I'm English and we tend to get the International Japanese version here, meaning it's in English and has some upgrades over the American release, but not the extra dresspheres. In FFX, for example, Anima's Overdrive hits like 16 times, as opposed to once, and you can fight the Dark Aeons, not to mention you get two Sphere Grids to work with.

  • LETS DO THE TIME TRIP AGAIN!!!! LETS DO THE TIME TRIP AGAIN! XD

  • if this is japanese why is it her english voice acting ...speaking english words o.O unless the english voice actor sounds exactly like the japanese one

  • @tjmr15 Nope. They use English to show the Japanese how the English games are. Then they don't reciprocate us when they add new content. >.<

  • how do u get the psychicer drrssphere

  • @RobbieWong656 Buy FFX-2 International. Beat the swarm of fiends that Shinra has in the Battle Cup when you get on the Celsius for the first time.

  • Lol 0:31 Ow

I could have fun with this Dressphere, assuming I can remeber all the japanese characters :|

  • Wow Japan likes screwing the US over. They made extra stuff for this game and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix only came out in Japan D:

  • That isn't fair! She's even speaking english for crying out loud!

  • THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE

    FUCK

  • TIme Trip is just... wow.

  • no fair!!!

  • Man that would be soooooo fun! Damnit Japs! Why 'yall keepin this from us?!

  • I know...but at least they import it to us

  • man, psychic can control time, isn't that the most powerful dressphere?

  • pow right in the kisser

  • Where i can find this dresssphere in the ffx-2 international game?? thanks!

  • so they talk japanese and english in battle?

  • whre did you get this game version i would like to buy this from you

  • why dont i have these dresspheres!!!! How can I get these?!?!?!?!

  • International Ver

  • @maximusbone

These along with one other is only in the FFX-2 International Game. It's only available in Japan.

  • It would be so nice if square soft would make a FF game about the stories of the Summons; how did that all start...

And I wish that the basis would be FF-X because FF X has the only FF that Summons are have a major part in the story.

    this would totally rock..^^

  • @DeathMage19 Well, that's not exactly right: FF6's Espers play a consistent part in the story, too.

  • Rikkus outfit almost reminds me of Harry Potter when they are flying in the air for that game.

  • The Psychic Fighter. . . Sounds cool. But after seeing this vid, looks like it can last too long in a fight. It doesn't have many offensive capabilities. However, it can be used as a support. But that's pretty much it.

  • Yup, tats a little disappointing. They should have added more offensive skills to Psychic Fighter instead of supportive skills.

  • it's not as if yuna and paine would be playing the same dressphere as well. 2 chars can play full offense while 1 plays psychicer for boss battles

  • Wish that these were in the orginal too, cause these look like they would be a lot of fun.

  • how is telepotation helpfull?

  • so are these dress spheres nowhere avaiiliable in american version?

  • Aw! No English Version? I wanted to get this mainly because of the new dresspheres!

  • This reminds me of Sora's Final Form

  • no release in US?? why not??

  • because japan made this to mock america

  • They did that for the Kh games too, Their like game director cuts for the home country only...8(

  • @assaindude its like their getting back at us for bombing them...?

  • if u meant in WW2 then no since that was long ago... unless they still have a grudge on us

  • @assaindude Next Time, we should corpyright the English Language and say to Japan "Release it here too, or no english voices for you!"

  • @UncleSchwarz lol like they would care lmao. tell me why would they care about not having english voices when they dont even release it here

  • This is the Coolest Dressphere Ever.

Time Trip and Excellence is WIN.

Too bad this is only available in Japan... sad.

Wish that FF X-2 International + Last Mission could release in US.

  • Pow! Right in the kisser! xD

  • I wouldn't mind an extended ending to X-2 though, where after Tidus and Yuna get together at the end of the game, all the friends (Wakka, Lu-Lu, Rikku, ect...) go to the Farplane and talk with the fallen (Auron, Braska, Jecht, ect...) That would be okay by me.

  • how do you get this dress sphere?

  • It's International version only.

    :T

  • rikki looks just like yuriko

  • 0:51

    Rikku: ZA WARUDO!!!

  • fucking japanese idiots just keeping the best version i hate them you perverts good thing we can use Hdloader and get an iso from the internet god bless the internet amen

  • damn they should have replaced this for the freakin beserker dressphere

  • i freakin agree.

  • hell yeah!!!! This was one rocks the casbah xD

  • Its not for america yet the english voice actors did parts for it.........

  • Dear god. Why can't I do them in the pooper! My screen keeps cockblocking me!

  • can you get these dresspheres in the englsih game if u can how do u get them???

  • Nope. Have to import it from Japan, along with a Japan PS2 to play it on.

  • there is another slightly less legal but free way. Get an emulator and ROM.

  • "ooh yeah right in the kisser"

    x)

    i lmao'd

  • I think that is Elma O.o

  • who is the one screaming like GYAAAAA or YAAAHAAA

  • ummm.....lets see.....Thelma? something ssounding to that.

  • I think I know which one...

  • 0:51 should be called "ZA WARUDO"

10 points to whoever gets the reference.

  • The Heads effect of "Arcana Force XXI - The World", pronounced "Za Warudo" in Japanese. By sending two monsters you control to the Graveyard during your End Phase, your opponent's next turn is skipped.

    10 points for me.

  • is that from Yu-Gi-Oh or something?

  • Yep.

  • yay then can you share some of your points? lol

  • Nevah! XD

  • some friend you are lol

  • "If you're good at something, never do it for free." XD

  • oh yeah? well i say " if youre free at something never do it for good"

  • can sum1 translate the abilities...?

  • y is it both in english and japanese?

  • Having all three ladies there as Psychics would have been better. Same abilities, yes, but they don't all move the same way.

  • Did You Make This Video?

  • lol, can't have a Japanese game without schoolgirls?

  • Seriously :S.

Oh well. Never seen or even heard of these "new" dresspheres to be honest, but then again, I bought FF X-2 but never even bothered to finish it.

  • They were only in the International version, I think.

  • ya its true and thats only for Japan and that sucks!

  • They were. But still, FF X-2 was a bit of a let-down. In fact, everything (except for Tactics Advance) since Square went Enix was a major dissapointment (for me, of course).

  • Eh, I liked this game, as well as Tactics Advance. They were great with the ability and job systems.

  • I loved the Job and Ability system. But let's be fair. In Tactics Advance, both systems made sense. Playing FF X and then trying to relate "Job System" to it just... does not seem normal. Yuna's new attitude in itself is ridiculous. Sure, people mature, but it was overdone and ridiculous. Pain was a shameless and obvious female rip-off of Squall Leonhart, and Spira's new view towards the GIRL who saved their freakin' lives is just... well, badly made.

  • How else do you explain the dresspheres?

You're taking the characters out of context. You have to remember how they lived before this point in time. Yuna, for example, was extremely sheltered, and is only just beginning to open up. It's natural to overdo something like that.

I can't get into Paine's story without spoilers, so research it yourself.

  • I would not use Dresspheres to begin with. At all. Something that intricate, that "powerful"... don't you think that if it made sense to exit, it would've been found much earlier? It's not like it's been 20 freakin' years since Sin. You're right about Yuna, and I have said so myself. She matured, but... still.

About Paine, I know her background story already. And I will repeat. She's a shameless, obvious rip-off of Squall, personality-wise AND physically too.

  • I would think that dresspheres are one of two things. Either they're a recent invention, which is supported by the fact that Shinra created the Garment Grid, or they're a recently-discovered technology from either Bevelle or Zanarkand.

I admit Paine and Squall had similar circumstances. Both had very, very difficult pasts, and are still trying to get over them during their respective game's storylines. But honestly, if Paine was a rip-off of Squall, why can't she use Renzokuken?

  • I would agree with the invention theory. I guess letting go of the religion was a big step forth to new research, but we all know Yevon had it's own work in the background. Vegnagun and the Bevelle Temple are two examples.

About Paine, well... It would be just too obvious, wouldn't it? If it makes a difference, their swords (not including the fact that Squall's is a Gunblade) are actually quite similar both in stance use and length. And the "Whatever" catch-phrase? Please.

  • Squall holds his gunblade forward, like one would a normal sword. Paine has her back turned, holding her sword in the reversed position and downward. Squall swings downward. Paine swings up, overhead, and THEN downward. These are two totally different fighting styles. And besides, swords don't really differ all that much in length in Final Fantasies, sans Genesis Rhapsodos' rapier and Sephiroth's Masamune.

If you have a commonly-used synonym for "whatever," let's hear it.

  • Buster Sword - Revolver

    Ultima Sword (Steiner) - Brotherhood

    Masamune - Masamune (Zidane)

Squall swings downward. Paine swings downward. Paine holds her sword down and thrusts at the enemy. Squall does too.

    "I don't wanna hear it."

    "Shut up."

    "Meh."

    And my personal favorite.

    "I don't care."

  • Paine's the only one who has to perform an overhead swing. The men just rush forward and slash.

My personal favorite is, "I hate this dressphere." She says it as a Songstress.

But honestly, every character is distinctly his or her own. To say Paine is a Squall rip-off is like saying Cloud was a Cecil rip-off.

  • It is -a- swing. Not a style.

    I loved that about her.

I agree, totally. Although Cecil is much different from Cloud, in appearence. And Paine's appearence reminds me of Squall. Maybe it's just me though.

Don't take me wrong though, I love the YRP. And the Gulwings. I just think the game should've been much more thought of. MUCH more. Just like some parts of Persona 3 FES -The Answer-, just like Suikoden V, so on. I guess I'm just too picky when it comes to storylines.

  • Yeah, it's just you.

Stance and swing are indicative of fighting styles.

Yeah, I think you're just too picky.

  • I've practiced Kenjutsu for some years. I would believe I would know what are indicatives of fighting styles. There are too many different types of swings to be indicative of one single style, and to that, there are also multiple stances to one single style. Take Iaido as an example. Watch a regular kata, and tell me how many different stances you can spot. There you go.

And yeah, I am just too picky xD.

  • So picky that you annoy me. This'll likely be my last reply to you; I have enough to deal with in real life.

  • Well sure. I didn't actually realise I was annoying you. I apologise for that. I thought we were just having a friendly discussion about a videogame. Did I poke a bruise with the "watch a Iaido kata" argument?

Oh well, I guess some people aren't "cut out" (no pun intended) for dicussion. Thanks for the talk anyway. T'was fun.

  • No, you didn't poke any bruises. I just dislike debates and arguments in general.

  • because you always lose? i was like that too at one point

  • Um, no. Blame my upbringing, as it was fully of parents screaming and throwing fragile things at one another.

  • if you dont mind my asking how old are you?

  • 20.

  • dont take this as a rude comment but dont you think youre old enough to do things without blamming it on your upbringing?

  • I don't take this as rude.

Simply put, there are things I still have to work through that concern my upbringing. Everyone has their issues, after all, and mine concern much of my...chaotic past.

But don't worry. I will succeed. It's just a matter of time and effort.

  • Thats a good attitude; getting stronger instead of just blamming all your actions on something else like most people

  • I used to do that, but I realized that the future is never certain. As such, I had the power to mold it into whatever I desired. All I need is my will, and a bit of divine intervention.

I'm now looking at the DigiPen College in Washington State. If there's enough funds in financial aid, I can go there for classes. Nintendo recommended this college, and I plan on outclassing Shigeru Miyamoto.

  • I don't think Yuna's personality/attitude changed *that* much.

What I liked about FFX-2 was that it was obviously trying to be ridiculous/funny and yet still retains alot of character.

If they were to make another sequel/spinoff, I think it'd make the most sense if it were a nice blend of FFX seriousness with X-2 silliness.

  • Perhaps Yuna's ideals haven't changed, but you must admit. Judging from the same silliness that we both agree to have had, Yuna is a lot more spontaneous and upbeat than she was in FFX.

Another sequel would just kill the story. If there WAS a spinoff I'd definately WANT to play, would be involving Braska's pilgrimage. It'd be extremely nostalgic, in a paradoxal sort of way, to see all the monsters and places you've passed through in FFX, with Auron's younger version, and we all love Jecht.

  • I think Yuna would have gotten more upbeat and spontaneous had Tidus been there anyway, she just had Rikku to influence her instead. And with the weight of impending death/doom gone, it's only natural for her to be more cheery.

As far as a sequel/spinoff goes, I'd really be interested in many things. I'd love if they made a Blitzball game. They could do so much with just that.

Braska really doesn't interest me though and I *hate* Jecht. >_>

  • A Blitzball game, yes. Definately.

But, what else could ever possibly be done from FFX? If not Braska's pilgrimage, there's absolutely nothing you could squeeze out of the story without making it worse than it already is now.

  • I'd like to see them do something with Zanarkand, that city looked tight as hell but we never actually got to 'see' it.

And I'm very much an obsessed fan-girl when it comes to TidusxYuna, so nearly anything involving that would interest me. (nothing elaborate or 'in the future' though, like marriage, I believe that's certainly better left to the imagination.)

I mean, a full blown, brand new story perhaps wouldn't be the way to go, but random lil' anecdotes would, little things expanded on.

  • But that's just spinning something that should be left intact. Essencially, that would be no better than FFX-2 to begin with.

I agree with you, I want to see Zanarkand thoroughly very much too, and Tidus and Yuna? Meant to be from the very start, one of the cutest couples in gaming history (my favorite is Squall and Rinoa).

  • I mean, I immediately think of something like Dissida. If they made a FFX spinoff, it wouldn't necessarily have to be extremely relevant to anything story-wise, or change anything, while still remaining entertaining.

I mean, I'm excited about Dissida just because I get to see Tidus in a videogame again! XD

  • Yeah, but what u don't realise is that every final fantasy game is what u are describing to all previous final fantasy games xd I mean, if they bothered to do sth that irrelevant to the story, y not make a totally new ff, not that big a difference xd

But what I'd like to see though would be an ffx2 battle system game, but serious, coupling braska's pilgrimage with old zanarkad and a more detailed look at auron's story with old zanarkad and how was tidus raised...add subtle references to what we

  • already know, tidus and his zanarkand being a dream and all and u would have an interesting new game...

  • If anything, I could see Paine, Gippal, whathisface, and the other guy's story as a prequel to FFX-2.

  • bundled with an auron ject and braska story

  • not to be rude but tht would suk

  • Not necessarily. I don't really like Paine, though. I'd rather have them make a prequel of Final Fantasy X.

  • yea tht would be good braskas story but them you will be going to the same places as ffx ffx-2

  • True, but it won't be exactly the same. It is a while back. Plus, even if it uses the same scenery, it'd be in a lot better graphics. We'd probably be able to see Sin kill Chappu and Wakka and Lulu's parents. A lot of the story that they talk about in FFX and FFX-2 could thuroughly played through.

  • thts true ide buy it but they should use the same sphere grid

  • Hm... That'd be weird, though. They didn't have the sphere system back then, and it'd be weird to see Braska, and Auron change jobs.

  • Yeah man a prequel would rock. I always thought that in FFX you should get proper flashbacks every now and then where you could play as Auron, Braska and Jecht. They did it so well in FF8 and it fits into FF10 just as well.

  • Like a Braska/Auron/Jecht view of things?

  • FFX-2 is already a great blend of seriousness and frivolity. I think they really found a great balance. A sequel, though it's pointless to speculate, would be amazing using FFX-2's style with a fresh storyline and new places to explore.

  • lol i know right!

  • where can u buy the japanese version

Awsome game, wish i could find it tho.

and does anyone know if it plays on american Playstations?

  • In Japanese is way best, and I liked the time trip best, would be useful against angra mainyu

  • well thats just weird, they should release it with english subtitles and on PAL. it would rock.

  • um were they speaking in english, cause i coulda sworn i heard rikku so, pow right in the kisser in her american actresses voice?

  • they kept the english voice overs and added new japanese voices for new stuff. they always do that for international versions

  • Come to think of it, how do you pronounce Psychicer? ._. psy-chi-Ser?

  • Psy-kicker

  • how do u get the physich dressphere like wat chapter of the game and wat place?

  • Rikku reminds me of Ceres from Ayashi no Ceres!

  • where do you find it on the english version?

  • why did game makers got those dresspheres off?

    they're pretty cool

  • cuz they are stingy and dont want us americans having fun like that? idn but they rock though

  • Americans (myself included) are impatient. They released it here before they could add the other stuff.

  • why did game makers got those dresspheres off?

    they're pretty cool

  • omg how do u get these dresspheres
