You should lift your guitar (Classical style) so you don't strain your wrist and it will be able to come out cleaner and will be a lot easier to play. Plus you don't have to shift your whole body like at 0:28-0:30 making a much better tone and allowing you to shift frets with ease. :D

@fanculification I didn't mean that this peice was inspired by metallica! It was actually the opposite I ment. The intro to nothing else matters has many similar patterns to this peice, which is why i thought metallica may have been inspired by this, though it is a simple and common note progression.

You should use your pinky to play the 12th fret. Staying with your pinky as you slide to the tenth and eight fret makes the transition to the bar waaaay easier.
This is called "Romance de Amor" not "Romanza" -.- . It's a spanish song. And the tone is really bad with that guitar. Besides, your left hand finger choice is really not the correct one. If you wanna play classical pieces you have to know how. Get a classical guitar, play with your guitar on top of your left leg and use the correct fingers. That makes a huge difference. Also, this is only the first part of the song, it then modulates do E Major, in case you don't know.
Great job. I prefer to slow it way down when I play it. A little more free time tempo. In my opinion, it gives it a much more elegant feel. But, wow. You are great at this piece. Its great to hear another person who can play it.

I first heard this song over the speakers on a ferry crossing and found it and learned it by ear later. I still play it all these years. You play it like I do. I'm glad this resource is on for guitarists who want to learn it. I can send some of my budding guitar students here to learn it! You tube is almost making the guitar teacher's job obsolete! : )

Your position is wrong. Your fingering is wrong. Your notes are wrong. Your right hand technique is bad. And you use mostly just one finger of your left hand(you slide your middle finger up and down). Beside those little problems, which we can ignore, you can read a tab loudly. You can play it bad, record it and put your video on the web. But if you want to teach something, you should know it first. @919664 Haha not likely, I did have trouble with that too, best thing to do (I know they all say this) is to practice, even pick out the bit you struggle with and break it down, (eg. Just start off with baring the 7th fret and see if you can clearly play each string) I hope this helps :)

@LordGiuIiano Because I start learning guitar in very same way. I got so many bad habit form this videos and now I have to practice so much more to just give ride of them. You can play it bad, record it and put your video on the web. But if you want to teach something, you should know it first. Therefore I hope you are not a ... kisser, and you would be happy if people get acknowledged that it is not a right way to play guitar and there is so many problems with it.

@Nokhia06 No, I am an average player. By standard of classical guitar I am a beginner, in contrast to this video, I am a master. You can send me your email and I would send you my version of romance. However it is not about me. Whether I am a good player or bad one. It doesn't change the fact that this video has lot of mistakes. And if you think she is a good player, or romance sounds like this, you don't know anything about a guitar.

Ah thats how you hit the low E on the 7th fret, I was trying to bar the entire 7th fret haha

@medievillord you people must have huge hands. I almost broke my index trying to hit the low E and bar the first two strings on the 7th fret!!!

@919664 Haha not likely, I did have trouble with that too, best thing to do (I know they all say this) is to practice, even pick out the bit you struggle with and break it down, (eg. Just start off with baring the 7th fret and see if you can clearly play each string) I hope this helps :)

:D Hey,nice video,but it will sound much better when you play it a little bit faster :D
And when the notes on the E-string go there higher,it will be more comfortable when you use... other fingers? (sry if that's wrong im from Europe:D)
