  • understandeee? lol

  • the bestever comodey we are in histericks

  • Quoting Warren Mitchell on talking about playing Alf… ‘We were taking a break from filming and I was sitting down on a bench. An old man passing by recognised me, turned around and said.. “Well done. It’s good to see someone making fun of coons. Bloody lot”…

‘I replied ... I AM not making fun of black people. I am making fun of people like you’.

    Nuff said.

  • why cant todays comedy be like this without all this PC crap that we have today even thats what made fawtly towers so funny

  • @charlieiscool1000 To many do gooders out there I have black friend and we constantly rip the pish outta eachother with racist and other remarks. Its a joke. There just words.

  • @Smurfboy1982 Words lead to discrimination, violence and inequality- as well as potentially depression, self abuse and suicide in the victim. Though the context sometimes matters, the past impact of the words combined with their continued meaning mean they are never acceptable.

  • Ahhhhhh...The good old days.....

  • I came on here tonight to learn about Archie Bunker's forefather, whose time on the air started before Archie and ended after. From seeing clips of Til Death and In Sickness, it seems Alf and Archie both mellowed out- going from racist to prejudice but well meaning. This is one of the funniest clips I ever saw of any show- us Americans can take a lesson from British comedy writers. I've watched this about 7 times now, understandy?

  • this wud b banned now for been so racist. Just been buying this on DVD great

  • Mrs Hollingberry at the end of clip "Understandi skinhead"

This is fantastic comedy, No one else could play that part as good as Warren Mitchell

  • I remember watching Alf on the box when I was young, I used to piss my pants with laughter, he's such an ignorant old prick!

  • @G00dfeIIa

Your remark reveals more about you than about the Aboriginal people, you ignorant tosspot.

  • OMG total pure comedy

  • understandy lmfao

  • HELLO HELLO JOHN JON lol......love him and im a PAKI

  • warren mitchel is a jew

  • hey is that mr.harmond off of Are You Being Served in the back of the truck with Alf? or just someone that resembles him?

  • Yep its him.

  • @DiverforPort

Yep, the late great Arthur English. He used to live down the road from me in Aldershot. A very nice, unassuming man, despite his fame.

  • Aborigene people remind me so much of American Indians, they are beautiful.

  • ahhh good old fashion racism

  • AMAZING MAN
