man fuck this game, i got half way thru the final chapter and realized something was wrong since no one was joining me. I did some research and realized my mistake, in literally every single chapter i took every single town(had no idea about CF) and took the time to kill every single enemy because i thought id get something special for it or something, man i thought i was doing so well too, through the whole game the only recruitable character i got was fucking Paul.... 150 hours for nothing

Don't worry just continue to play get the bad ending or something and then if you feel like it follow a faqs or something to get the perfect ending as i did.

You will probably waste weeks to find one that work and even more to find one with a decent price.

Most of the best N64 game are all around 80-150$

I used to go crazy because of the final boss' bare breasts, lol. That, and the characters used curse words. Ah, to be 12 again. Though, unlike all of you I really loved this game. My mom bought it for me when I had a 102 fever, and this was the best thing that could happen to me.

Then you got the bad ending if you fight Destin then, you were the bad guy Destin is always on the good side, that's why i end up with him in my team.

Same here i was young and stupid and rented this game and i only played it few battle and i didn't like it because i could not control my troops...

But i didn't understand that if i could control them the game would be even more easy and would become boring quick.

You can always download a rom of the game and play on a emulator on your PC.

well,i used to play this game,and get really beated up on characters collecting,i played it again like 2 years ago,and weird as it sound i get me mostly all zebonians(aint finished), missed paul and the wolfman,an ogre on the bad rolled game.all the good stuff just missed to make my own angel,thats just too hardcore to get. you can always try the multiplying item ''bug'' to get your ali higher,i used it on magnus since he always used to..you know,turn to dark side?lol.

I didn't even know about the multiple endings... let alone the whole chaos frame deal in my first playthrough.

I've had a Princess, all of the Zebonians, 2 Liches, 2 Black Knights, Lidel, Seraph, Europia, Vad, Paul, 2 Centurions, a Vampire, an Ogre, all of the dragons, a Dragoon, and a Gorgon, along with all the Elem Pedras and Drakonite books on one play through. The only two guys that I've never had were Carth and Biske. God, this game is so damn fun.

But has she ever recruited an Ogre? Those bastards are near impossible to get to show up, but they're like Golems. You talk to them, they join you. Not like Dragons, it's a crap shoot getting them.

Grr I'm trying my best to get debonair and destin this time around on my game. Been so long since I played but trying to get the CF up high..so far trying to get only the highest morale cities every mission and not capturing the neutrals..idk if that helps

your supposed to take the strongholds which characters of similar morale. So take the low morale strongholds with chaotic groups and high morale with lawful groups in order to liberate them.

To get a centurion u have to train 7 soldiers into fighters or amazons and meet the stats requirements.

Actually centurions are not that great, better use freyas or paladins

the chaos frame is pretty confuzing but after a couple playthrough's it's pretty easy to figure out... ive only gotten the good ending once out of 6 times though :(

The Very bad ending i dont know i never got it but i saw a video on youtube i think the very bad ending is when you kill destin and his friend.

Not at all I've gotten both endings following the 'Zenobian route' if you get all the Zenobians and get the bad ending, you get a special scene where story tell how Magnus became Destin's 'shadow' in their battle against Lodis.

The trick is to capture all the towns in the last scene after Danika has awakened and start retreating back to base, all the enemy units will start flocking over the towns recapturing them, making you lose 3 or 4 points per town in your chaos frame.

What i mean by there all the same is almost all the other ending end by Magnus is trying to go talk to frederik but the soldier say that Magnus is posses by the infernal aura and chase him away some year later a great battle begin with the eastern barbarian tribes and palatinus is reduced tu rubble......

And for Magnus his name has now been.....

The Other ending are all the same only this ending the Very bad one and the good one are nice all the other are all the same.

You need to look at the Moral of the town.

When is 30-60 or 50 not sure use a Neutral chaos frame unite.

When is 29-20 use a low Chaos chaos frame unite.

When is 19-0 A use a High Chaos frame unite.

When is 61 or 51-81 use a Low Lawful Chaos frame unite.

When is 81-100 use a High Lawful unite is simple. ^^

If none of your unite cant liberate the town juste dont try and leave it.

i was going to ask how you got this ending, but most of it is alreqady here. Man, I keep on getting the same ending over and over again...and my Chaos rating (whatever that is) is always 0 no matter what i do...really enjoy te game but i dont know some of those concepts yet...i like the fighting part, really fun!

Is really easy to get the best ending if you are lawful with 100 point.

And if you always liberate all the town and never capture one and try to not always kill all the enemies.

Oh yeah and you need destin and all the zenobia character i think.

And in this game you will be a simple soldier in the army of magnus and you will have to kick the crap out of the lodis and in the game destin and all the other hero will join you and magnus to. lol

I only got bane and virtue to is all you need.

And Gilbert will only join you if you are very lawful =P

When your flag on your character is L

not C and not N.

and not only your Hero but almost all your unite to.

In my game i got 1 unite neutral 1 unite chaos and all other was lawful.

You always need 2 unite neutral and chaos to liberate all the town and a lawful to.

All you need to do is.

1 Most important: Always "Liberate" all the town and not even capture 1 town if you cant liberate it juste leave it.

2 most important: Always keep your unite lower lvl that the enemies unite to have lawful character.

3 needed: Just kill the leader of each enemies unite but dont kill all of em only the leader

if you kill all the enemie is not that bad but try to keep some enemies alive.

4 needed i think: all the special character destin saradin your father etc.

This is nice. And don't worry about the lag. It makes it easier to read, that's all.

I have to admit, you're pretty good to get Magnus up to those levels. Usually, I can't beat Danika unless I have a Pumpkinhead or two in the back row.

XD yeah i know that battle can be hard.

But i was not that high lvl.

Magnus was lvl 40 with 42 exp

The two paladin was lvl 40 with 42 exp

The priete was lvl 40 with 42 exp

And the diana ... lvl 40 with 42 exp XD

I try to keep all my character at the same lvl.

Like that i can get the best ending more easier.

I never used the traning just for the unite that defending my base.

i used only 3 unite to *liberate* all the town on each map.

the 1 is one with Very low chaos frame.

the 2 is one with neautral chaos frame.

the 3 is magnus with very lawful chaos frame.

all the other unite beside the one that liberate the town

are very lawful even the lich are very lawful the dark knight to. XD

To make em chaos is easy use traning like crazy to make em 10 lvl highter that enemies on the map.

To make em lawful juste try to keep em lower lvl that the enemies on the map.

I have to replay this game now. I think Magnus was 64 when I fought Danika. Stuck him, Destin, Dragoon, Meridia, and Aisha into a party and just put them out, and sent them right at her from the starting deployment spot. They just steamrolled up to here, and kicked the piss out of her.

The key is to save a crapload of money up thorughout the game, and blow it all on training for a core group for the last fight.
