In a democracy, production, distribution, exchange, and sale is under the control of business via the free enterprise system. It was Karl Marx who believed socialism is the transitional stage between democracy and communism.

  • WTF. democracy has NOTHING to do with communism. in democracy the people choose who makes the laws, in communism, the capitalist equivalent of private property, is owned by ALL of the people, not just 1 person. in a way communism and democracy support each other since everything belongs to the people.
