Well said. Well anyone willing to devote the time and energy into making beer truly appreciates it for it's craft and not a homemade way to get drunk. All us brewers prove it!
Yeah, I'm hoping that this is something my kids and I can do together for years to come. I also hope it will help them to see beer as a craft or an art and not some cheap means to getting plastered when they're in high school. If they grow up with an appreciation for it as a craft and it's not continually demonized, I doubt they'll be so prone to abusing it when they're older.
Mash? Extract or grain?

I haven't gotten into all grain yet but i do partial mash recipes. You should post a favorite recipe:)
