hey i had a question when using this without splitters is there any lag ?

wich are your pc specifications? i want to buy it but mine has 1gb Video, 4gb RAM, and 720gb HDD, AMD Phenom Black Edition X4, my Mother Board is a Gygabyte M68MT-S2P 1.- the AVerTV HD DVR can work perfectly? 2.- I want to buy it and record in HD my Wii Games, and i saw it only has HDMI ports, so i can record at 1080p without lag?

@AlexRedShock there is only a hdmi out (which goes to ur tv) It has component in and out, Iv had no lag /interference with mine, and i have had lag with the roxio capture caard, this is a must buy, 120 euro too!

Anyway, with my HD PVR I'll be using Sony Vegas Pro 10 for editing and maybe Adobe After Effects.

@GuiltyxSniper His is probably the PCI-e card. But there is another one that is USB. For the PCI-e is about $100. While the USB one is $175. You can buy them from Circuit city, Amazon, Newegg or Comp USA.

It is defiantly worth the money as you can see from this video.

If you want to use your laptop for recording id consider buying the happauge. It may be expensive but its worth it. I have the avermedia but it tok me ages to get it set up
