  • @TheEmpyrios i'm sure you know right...or someone you know..lol

  • Sad that foreign actors/actresses feel the need to succeed in Hollywood when they produce so much worthless white washed crap.

  • What was the song that was played in the background when Hye Kyo was being introduced?

  • South Korea is like Hollywood of Asia

  • GOSH.. what a fine looking man.. *__* I should seriously find myself a caucasian husband so my kids would look like him LOL

  • @chinita150 I usually only hear that kind of stupidity come from my fellow Asian women. Trust me, I know many half white/half asians and the vast majority of them are plain to average. Interestingly enough like the rest of the global population.

  • @frank10152 , are you sure, don't you know they eat dogs. I say don't support dog eaters.

  • @IamGaijin Eating dogs is more of a North Korean thing South Korean don't do it as much.

  • Nice but they are assholes saying that Kpop, etc is only popular in Asia; um, wtf, the Korean culture/music is popular all the fucking world now

  • @krudykenny

i don't understand why people like you have to post up such nasty comments. so what if americans can't say korean names, some american names koreans can't even pronounce either. who cares? be thankful that they're even featuring korean celebs

  • @krudykenny You just dont know how many Korean people cant say my name "Keith"

Maybe its time for Koreans to spell their names more phonetically ;) cause I think this broadcast wasnt perfect but you can see they did their research and tried to get it right....

  • Asian Boys they are very cool!!

  • @akirachan1983

They probably won't be popular in America or the Western hemisphere much because people are prone to masculinity. Asian boys, especially from the Kpop industry, seem to be a little too feminine for American/European/Latin taste.

  • @Ngelcanfly THEY " STAR" TO BE POPULAR IN AMERICA TOO

AND WE GIRLS HAVE CHANGED MAN! WE LIKE FEMENINE MANNNNN NOWDAYS . THERE IS EVEN GIRLS THAT LIKE TO KISS AND SLEEP WITH GAYS LOL....

AND DANIEL HENNEY LOOKS REALLY BAD GUY :P NOT FEMENINE ;)

  • Kalbi : it is like ppl arguing over kebab in the middle-east....

Kimchi: there are 1000 kinds of them...that is significant.

Food can be similar..but how much u love it is much more important...

  • Everyone is entitled to an opinion and that is the great democratic appeal of open forums such as those available on You Tube. Aside from that people can often see things from a different or unique perspective. My intent is not to feud or foment a feud with anyone. Best wishes and good luck.

  • That being said, I also like Ojingo Bokumsari as long as thick "Chinese" style miantiao noodles are used in making it, not like some Korean restaurants I've been to that use generic spaghetti noodles. I'm saying all these things regarding my preferences from a neutral position, because I am a westerner and neither Chinese nor Asian.

  • Matter of fact, I listen to Japanese Pop music and even Chinese and guess what? For the most part their pop music is not annoying, because the pop music I've heard from Japan and China does not sound like annoying "American" sounding R&B. For Your Info: I myself am skinny. That is mainly due to genetics. I did not say all Korean food is bad, but some of it, especially Kimchi is very acidic! Cucumber and squash Kimchi is pretty good, but I could do without the cabbage kind.

  • wtf ? music? at least korean songs are not about sex and money all the time. and dont eat korean food if u have delicate stomach? yea thats BS because america has all these fatass burgers and fries when koreans main dish kimchi is known to help prevent cancer. so fuck you and fuck you again.

ps - korean food is so healthy and good for you than american food ..thats why you see obese people in US and see skinny healthy people in Korea. it is extremely rare to see an obese korean.

  • I'm sorry sir, I did not mean to offend, but basically my comments were not directed against Koreans or their culture, I was giving my opinion based on my own experience. When it comes to the music sucking, I must concur that most American pop music also sucks, but c'mon, when 90% of a nation's pop music appears to be of the R&B genre something is wrong. I don't care what language it might be in, contemporary R&B music sucks!!

  • 1) im not a guy so sir offends me

    2) 90% of kmusic is not r&b. now i dont know what its called in english, but there is a type of music. its... old fashioned kind. and ive been to china(aand infact the nicest places like beiijing and shanghai) and their places/supermarkets are soooo unsanitized.. now i have chinese friends and im not being hypocritical. koreans pride is not kalbi, its kimchi and kimbap. not sushi, kimbap. also kochujang is also not sauce, its an ingredient to spice things up

  • First of all, I apologize for addressing you incorrectly. It was assuming and uncouth of me to do so. Secondly, when touching upon the topic of music, I was referring to "pop" music and not Korean music in general. What you wrote was correct about Kochujang. Although it is used as a sort of sauce, it is actually a red pepper paste. I think Kimbap is o.k, but I actually prefer Bibimbap.

  • okay i understand.

  • Matter of fact, I'd rather have Chinese style cabbage any day over Korean Cabbage Kimchi. At least Chinese cabbage is prepared fresh from the market and doesn't have any intoxicating "fermented" qualities as does Cabbage Kimchi, which is put in a jar and left out in the sun. Korean's pride themselves on Kalbi, but most cultures eat spare ribs; no big deal. Now Kochujang sauce is good, because it is spicy and sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet nor spicy.

  • The subject of sanitation in markets is relative. I was a soldier in S. Korea 9 years ago, and the same can be said of certain markets and places of commerce in sparsely populated areas outside of large urban centers. Having written these things, I must reiterate that my comments are based on my own experience, and I don't mean to offend anyone or make generalizations about Koreans or their culture. My comments are my own and are a matter of opinion.

  • okay.

  • Rain <3333

  • LMFAO JONG DONG GUN HAHAHA

  • DANIEL !! ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!!!

  • henney in ABC! :D

  • am so proud of Hye Kyo being recognized as the female Hallyu star here in north america.
