  • that sounds like and e57 siren

  • @dearbornplaza STFU! Really whats your problem? So you don't like the siren because it scares you? Well then take your medication! These things help save lives

and there part of American Fire Dept history. There not going anywhere. The law states that all emergency vehicles must be seen and heard from at least 1/4 mile at min. As for siren being on the guys jeep that varies

by state. I know this because I'm a former cop and fire fighter. Most states it's not

a problem if not in use with out a p

  • Is that illagal to have on a car? Not using it, but just for looks?

  • cool

  • Pump it up

  • haha, too bad u cant really use it

  • wow that looks amazing

  • Beautiful

  • you damn woo woo

  • @fireman572181 ugh, more of this fireman shit.

  • How did you wire that up to your car without draining the battery?

  • How did you wire that up to your car without draining the battery?

  • Ah ha! Now I know what this is! I am going make sure this gets banned. I cannot believe what kind of bullshit you idiots like to brainwash yourselves with. Plus, I also watched the video and not just said something deliberately.

  • does that have a fly weel?

  • cant u get arrested for that

  • Yes, you can. As in, yes that is illegal and you can get arrested for having that Q-Siren on your bumper like that. Don't listen to all the brainwashed retards that think this ugly, old warning device is cool. I hope there is legislation banning this any similar sirens in the future. They are really scary and I often freak out when hearing a Darley from my town's FD going to a call. I don't like Darley engines either. For Pete's sake, THIS IS JUST A MOTHERFUCKING SIREN!! Calm down.

  • @DearbornPlaza i hope your house burns and the fire dept can't get there because you banned their siren

  • @DearbornPlaza You go right on ahead and try to get Q's banned... I'm sure the legislature will sympathize, after all, it's far more important that you don't have to change your panties any time there is a fire engine near than it is to have a time-tested and proven, instantly recognizable warning device on lifesaving apparatus weighing well over 10 tons as it moves down our highways in response to our calls for help. You'd hate to live where I do, We put Qs on our ambulances too.

  • is that on ur POV?!

  • nop haha probably on a weekend car. we do those things here

  • my fire dept has a 1950 jeep

  • Nice 3000 dollar bumper sticker

  • squirrel

  • Got come overload springs and couple extra alternators I hope.

  • lame u should of wound it up.

  • i hope u dont rear end some one!!!

  • bout $3g's sittin on the bumper. dont rear-end anybody. lol

  • Haha! This rates as one of my favorite YouTube comments of all time. STAY SAFE!

  • haha the sound of it winding down is awesome

  • didn't even get to hear the son of a bitch, lame

  • is that even legal?

  • I think he's a volunteer firefighter

  • As long as he doesn't use it on the road, unless he's going to the fire station which allows lights and sirens, then yes.

  • Geez, thats an expensive accessery.

  • does anybody know where i could get one used?

  • ebay mate...

  • Do you need to cover it when on city streets?

Some police departments would give you a ticket for having one and not even sounding it. Cover or remove it to keep it in good condition.

Looks great with all your chrome.

  • Great!

  • I LOVE the Q-siren..i'm still tryin to get my Fire Chief (my uncle) to let the department put Q's on our 2 structure trucks...one day maybe!

  • They're too expensive.

Also, electronic sirens have P.A. capability which these do not.

  • they'd be set up like most new ones are, with the Q complementing the regular siren system. yeah, i know they're pricy, but ya sure can't deny lovin the sound of em!

  • Yes. Love the sound and the long coast down -hate the brake.

There is no need for two sirens.

Just a BIG waste of money. Two is no more effective than one.

  • Electronic Sirens does not have the same quality as the Q2. In my opinion anyway.

  • You are correct.

The Q sound is rich in harmonics.

Electronic sirens produce a square wave to propel the speaker diaphragm from one extreme to the other to create the loudest sound.

Any other "vibrations" within the diaphragm excursion detracts from the overall volume output.

  • It would be illegal to use it if cars or any vehicles are around you or in front of you, because it would make them have to get out of your way.

  • It is a carnaval so it's not illegal all vehicles involved are Jeep. (it's a club).

  • @brianalexi its not illegal to have a siren on your vehicle you just can not use it

  • @brianalexi i have one on my truck as my regular horn

  • is that a cj-8 scrambler?

  • no is cj-7 laredo

see q siren in my jeep 2

  • 5 stars

  • Thanks!!!

  • thats ridiculous haha

  • i like Q siren ha, ha, ha
