Now a days every band who one ioda of creative talent gets scooped up and sold out before they even have a full album ready and had paid there dues. They have one hit song that gets over played so you buy the album and find out that was the only good song cause it was hurried. No company wants to take the time to let a band become good they just want a qwick fix which ends up killing the band that it could be.

They could afford to take chances. Now, the less records people buy the more chances they can take. It already costed money back then to break and artist with promotion and videos, etc, but now with less people buying records even if they enjoy them the companies feel like its no point.

dave grohl is fukin right when you less expect you become a pro musician. for me the key to succes on music is: 1) listen and learn about music, 2) practice (instrument or singing, 3) and the attitude on stage.

Maybe he didn't struggle for long but good thing because I love his Music! If you like Dave on drums you should check out Jeff Chomin (youtube the name) he does the BEST cover of Everlong, although the video isn't up for it yet.

i play music so i can play to the soul if possible i love music with a passion its my source of misdirection from the norm i wanna be a successfull guitarist and i completely agree on what dave is saying do it cos you love it not for the wealth what pisses me off nowadays is the amount of stupid love songs out there there has to be more songs with meaning .. songs about something as simple as a bus ride could hold so much .. peace out fight the foo!!!

Most bands these days try SO HARD to be different. Producing a different sound. Dressing different. Trying to act stupid just to be different. They do these things to get noticed and become famous.

dave grohl is fukin right when you less expect you become a pro musician. for me the key to succes on music is: 1) listen and learn about music, 2) practice (instrument or singing, 3) and the attitude on stage.
