  • wwaaaoenfoenw me gustaria haber escuchado eso hace unos 10 meses

  • FRESH POTS!!!!

  • His hair is soooo shinny, he should do shampoo commercials on the side.

  • david grohl... WOW

  • She wants to blow him.

  • <3 Dave and Kurt

  • Dave Grohl is a god.

  • @adafunk I don't get it when people compare Dave Grohl to God. I mean, yeah he's awesome and all, but God's no Dave Grohl.

  • @8bitHeros clearly he is. (:

  • @adafunk you didn't get the joke

  • @wolfthing11 clearly not?

  • this reporter...Rocks

  • I've always admired him. About Nirvana they've always been in my heart <3

  • hes cool

  • hes the coolest fucking guy man

  • i love how that girl laughs everytime he says a cuss word

  • That woman totally wants to do Grohl.

  • its pretty clear that dave ages better than Chris....

  • Hey, it's kurt at 2:20!!! hahahahahahah.

  • dont take the free shit! lol

  • @Shaung1231 First I want to say that Justin Bieber is gay and has nothing to do with our Jesus Kurt Cobain, I hope Dave Grohl will think the same way, and second of all, this is a disaster. J.B. isn't Justin Bieber, but J.B. is JACK fucking BLACK!

  • Dave is awesome. Kurt is so proud of him in heaven i mean look at it Daves continueing on and Kurt would be proud of him.

  • @Shaung1231 he said that who the **** dose justin beiber think he is......so pissed now

  • Dave and Foo Fighters are a completely different entity from Nirvana. They aren't supposed to even be compared together. There's literally no comparison - it's not even the same type of music. Why can't you people just let it go? I love NIrvana and Foo Fighters, but Jesus Christ, shut the fuck up!

  • @schuylersemeniuk You have the best point among all of these comments.

  • If you really love Nirvana you shouldn't be bad mouthing Dave. He drummed his ass off on the records and on all the shows they played. After Kurt died he just moved on and continued to play music. Believe it or not it's actually possible to like both Nirvana and the Foo Fighters... so stop disrespecting the remaining members of the legendary band Nirvana.

  • i love dave grohl and nirvana love it how he was a young stoner punk rocker and he became of the biggest influencial music icons today getting to play with Pual Mcartney at the white house.

  • You're ranting Dave and Kurt is turning in his grave.

  • my hero. no pun

  • i always thought that David's voice would be a lot more deeper.....

  • he is a really sweet guy.

  • He did not say Nirvana is dead .. He did not even talk about them.

  • love both nirvana and foo fighters ther eboth great stop saying one is greater than the other its pathetic dave grohl is a music god an was in both bands long live grohlllllll

  • I'm not a fan of his cussing. Kurt almost never cursed and neither did Dave when he was with Nirvana...or around Kurt.

  • @nimaside of course kurt swore. never in his lyrics, but in spoken word and in his journals. it was krist who swore the most, and dave who cursed the least. but really, dave is a great guy still.

  • "Yes I went from a punk rock band to Foo Fighters. Nothing happened between 1990-1994."

  • @forevergamerKC27

He just avoids another interview about Kurt and Nirvana. It still hurts, dont you think?

  • @forevergamerKC27 nope nothin happened

  • He is right, Nirvana was one of the last bands to hit it big unexpectedly. Now a days every band who one ioda of creative talent gets scooped up and sold out before they even have a full album ready and had paid there dues. They have one hit song that gets over played so you buy the album and find out that was the only good song cause it was hurried. No company wants to take the time to let a band become good they just want a qwick fix which ends up killing the band that it could be.

  • @Ronman1978 fuck yea! you!! right on

  • @Ronman1978 ....because nobody buys records anymore. In 91, there was The Black Album AND Nevermind, as well as New Kids on The Block, Micheal Jackson, and Color Me Badd albums that sold millions. They could afford to take chances. Now, the less records people buy the more chances they can take. It already costed money back then to break and artist with promotion and videos, etc, but now with less people buying records even if they enjoy them the companies feel like its no point.

  • I agree with David that is the same reason why modern music sucks because the "musicians" and I use the term lightly don't care about the music they just want to sell records.

  • You can still hear nirvana in foo fighter songs

  • they forgot queens of the stone age in the title

  • @Brendleflock69 He was only a guest on one album. Not actually in the band.

  • @Brendleflock69 Dave was never officially in QOTSA. He just played with them.

  • dave is the living shit lol

  • this is some prety good tips.. thanks grohl. rock on!!

  • Don't take the free shit....

lol noted! I like this dude, though that freaking ponytail i mean come on man :P

  • dave did all the drumming on the foo fighters first album too....

  • he never talks about kurt becuase A. he was a really good friend with his and doesnt want to make kurt's personal actions public and B. hes played guitar ever since hes picked up drum sticks too lol

  • Kurt was a good friend of his and the song Let it Die is about Kurt and he said its hard to about Kurt

  • First of all, that didn't make sense. But i cannot blame you for thinking that the song "Let it Die" By Foo Fighters is speaking about Kurt. The song doesn't. I know, i was surprised also. But if you don't believe me, Dave said it in a interview himself. Which disappointed me. Foo Fighters is just another band in the Alternative Genre. Nirvana is the best Grunge band and last best band ever. Also, THEY CHANGED A GENERATION.

  • Dave won't talk about Kurt because he's not a dumbass, publicity-loving, piece of shit like all musicians today. He was an important part of the Grunge revolution meaning that he does what he wants to do, and not what the cocksucking public (like yourself) wants him to do. And Dave began playing guitar at age 12... long before he picked up drumming. he also drummed for Motorhead, Tom Petty, Them Crooked Vultures, and other bands. Nirvana was amazing, but Foo Fighters rock so damn hard.

  • @chrisjg25 Well said man

  • @chrisjg25 i think nirvana are the best

  • @chrisjg25 Yes but Dave Grohl is better as a drummer than as a guitarist. No doubt abou it!

  • @manhuntruler2 he drums in them crooked vultures dipshit

  • nie David tylko Dave.

  • he has the best advice to musicians

  • Love It! dis bloody song gets me straight to cloud nine.. Cant stop listening to this album, downloaded it @ DownloadMusic[DOTT]im , () keepin listening to it wherever i go :)

  • The coolest man in rock.

  • Dave is the best musician in the whole world...=D

  • just cause you don't like his music now or whatever, don't mean he's a bitch ass...he could run circles on you on the drums, guitar, and singing, all at once...u nutto

  • ack!!

  • I think what Dave is trying to say is...If you're only in music for fortune, fame and chicks...most likely your music sucks anyway, so you will never be successful. Do yourself and all of us a favor and find another line of work.

  • she obviously listened to "low" or "all my life" lol

  • hell yea

  • ;-) Enjoy Boots ...

  • Yeah, Dave was lucky he just had talent.

  • His name is dave dumbass but fanx for uploading

  • es dave no david grohl putaso chupaberga

  • Dave, that interviewer is diggin' on you!

  • dave....

When will you play in the UK?

    Anyone know? :D please

  • Them Crooked Vultures were in the Uk like 2-3 weeks ago just before christmas...

  • dave appears to look heaps different to what he looked like during the nirvana year and early foo fighter, his face is alot bigger, iddunno maybe its his hair.

  • when he was in nirvana I THINK he was a drug addict. I am not certain though. He gained a lot of weight and got more versatile as a musician.

  • That's what age does. That was 15 years ago.

  • Good advice bud! Think I'll follow it:)

  • hes one rad dude

  • Foo Fighters will always be the RIGHT NOW!!!!

Nirvana is gone Please let it go people!]!!

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning People say Nirvana's music is dead, are indeed retarded. But saying Nirvana's music will always be BETTER than other things that Dave does, is just plain absent-minded imo. Don't get me wrong, I love Nirvana, and I love Foo Fighters, and I love TCV and so on, but don't be negative towards other things..

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning There's no point at comparing those two bands. They're just different.

  • @TheGearsKeepTurning Foo Fighters are bad ass but I think the whole grunge scene did more damage than good for music. Rock adapted the rap attitude of everyone calling each other sell outs. Most of their success was based on hair bands failure. Seattle and Rock merged together to form Liberal Metal, but don't call it Metal cause that's a label for corporate sell outs. Fuck grunge, give me Rock Stars in limousines with groupies blowing everybody. Sex, Drugs, and Rock n Roll.

  • @lousinup Hair Metal was terrible. It's basically manufactured pop music.

  • Nirvana will never fucking die

  • @FuckYourComment89 Nirvana is Immortal.

  • @FuckYourComment89 sing on brutha.

  • His a fag for saying punk band rather then Scream or Nirvana. I think his secretly scared new people who havent heard of them will youtube the name and be like, FUCK FOO FIGHTERS WHEN YOU GOT NIRVANA!.

Kidding. But in all honesty, he should atleast have the gratitude to name them, since they made him who he is today, that's right FOO FIGHTER fans!

  • i completely agree with dave here! you should play music because you love it and if you're doing it to become famous you're in the wrong business.

  • He never talks about kurt or nirvana.

  • i agree

  • He never talks about Kurt cause it's emotional he knew him so well but, he could still talk about the success that Nirvana had I meanthey were 20 time shuger than the Foo Fighters but both are amazing bands.

  • Wow. This only cements my view on Dave as the coolest human alive. I play in a bands myself, and I don't expect to ever become famous. As long as I'm having fun doing it, that's enough for me.

  • PEDDLE THE ASS THAT GOD GAVE YOU

  • I think they have another music. But its not so much bad as you say. I think Dave have a very cool voice and songs like The Pretender, The One and All My Life.

I love Nirvana also. They are the fucking best band in the whole world. But foo fighters aren´t as bad as you say

  • in your opinion. Foo Fighters are not Nirvana, and if you don't constantly think they are Nirvana, you'll realize what you've missed thus far. Go listen to No Way Back, I'll Stick Around, and tell me that isn't fucking rock.

  • Thanks for the Video. I love the FOO FIGHTERS. Thanks. :)

  • hm a medafore

  • I don't like the interviewer.

  • this guy is a real rocker really down to earth unlike sell outs like fall out boy and others who just care about image

  • i love dave and foos qotsa tcv etc but what is he talking about,

how does he know what its like to be a struggling artist,

he had quite a few advantages over the average musician waiting to make it big he went from scream to nirvana to qotsa to tcv in succession from the age of about 16 up until now, and to add to that he's the most talented drummer out there, and he's a millionaire and everybody loves him......even me

  • He struggled before Nirvana. His previous band (the punk rock band he refers to where he made $7) split up while touring and left him with no money and no way to get home. He lucked out when Nirvana picked him up. So yes, he lucked out earlier than most but don't act as if he was HANDED his fame. Real Musicians don't down other Musicians dude. Have respect you bitter bastard.

  • im not bitter about it man, it couldnt have happened to a nicer guy, foo's are my favorite band , i know all about his dain bramage , mission impossible and scream days (scream was pretty big within their scene when he joined), but was he even 20 when he got into nirvana?, i just think his path top was a lot less complicated and much shorter then a lot of his contempories. im not trying to dis dave grohl , he's fuckin awesome.

  • exactly and the whole Nirvana getting huge was totally random and out of no where too. When Scream broke up he was just happy to have another band and a place to crash at rather than going home. He didn't and no one else in Seattle had a clue what was going to happen next...

  • Sorry about the bitter bastard comment then. All good Musicians struggle, that's what makes the success worth it. If we didn't struggle we wouldn't appreciate success. Maybe he didn't struggle for long but good thing because I love his Music! If you like Dave on drums you should check out Jeff Chomin (youtube the name) he does the BEST cover of Everlong, although the video isn't up for it yet.

  • ha played to nobody yep look out for head less puppets wher going to the top yeah

  • u shudnt play music to become famous , play it coz u love it (Y)

  • I wanna hit her over the head with the microphone.

  • I love this man! Not inthe gay way haha. He fucking rocks like no one...

  • i agree shes just a puppet

  • To bad most bands do it for the money nowdays i wish they would listen to this.

  • David Grohl... wasn't he from Nirvana?

  • YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH !

  • yes...

  • YAH THINK!

  • Yes i do think you're being an asshole

  • i play music so i can play to the soul if possible i love music with a passion its my source of misdirection from the norm i wanna be a successfull guitarist and i completely agree on what dave is saying do it cos you love it not for the wealth what pisses me off nowadays is the amount of stupid love songs out there there has to be more songs with meaning .. songs about something as simple as a bus ride could hold so much .. peace out fight the foo!!!

  • you rock dude by: foo fighters fan

  • great stuff....

  • i think this interview completely shows why Dave is so loved and so awesome at what he does and also why he is known as the nicest guy and rock.

i also totally agree with loopiou316, playing music isn't about becoming famous its about the love of the thing!!

  • lol...david grohl?? not Dave Grohl?!^^

  • Everybody calls him DAVE ... his real name is David eric GrohL

  • That was awesome. She didn't deserve such a great interview.

  • Kids think of it this way....

If you were born to be a star.....You will be a star!

Most bands these days try SO HARD to be different. Producing a different sound. Dressing different. Trying to act stupid just to be different. They do these things to get noticed and become famous.

Someone should tell them they should stop.

  • Actually, most bands these days are trying SO HARD to be the same as every other band.

But I still agree with you.

  • :-) When a drummer ...:-) and I do shily ...

  • god! he's great.

  • dave grohl is fukin right when you less expect you become a pro musician. for me the key to succes on music is: 1) listen and learn about music, 2) practice (instrument or singing, 3) and the attitude on stage.

  • lol you can tell the interviewer REALLY likes dave! haha but on a serious note, Dave Grohl is a fucking genius, and a true legend!

  • Is it true that he was raised by wolves?

  • He's from Ohio...

  • Listening to this interview makes you wonder why Kurt Cobain even killed himself.

  • i'm totally agreed that if kurt was alive now, foo fighters probably were the "next" nirvana, just for the thing that all the inspiration of foo fighters is because of kurt

  • L, your right

  • dave grohl is an example for not only every musician, but really everyone in the industry. so many artists have lost sight of creating legit music, just to make some quick money. woo dave

  • exactly, dave is so fucking right,if you start a band expecting to it to be great you probably won't go far in the musical buiseness ,get famous those things just hapen

  • dave grohl is so down to earth isnt he.A very good icon for up and coming musicians.

  • My inspiration. What a fucking legend!

  • Dave Grohl is a legend in music.

  • it is just me? or does doug benson kinda look like dave grohl?

  • just u

  • she needs to take a step back

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • good singer great drummer!! NIRVANA and FOO FIGHTERS forever!

  • haha lamerz both af you

  • Wow, so well put. This is why I hate commercial bands that aren't about the music, but about the money, and are in bed with the RIAA who get rich off of other peoples talent....etc...etc...

  • you type gay

  • dude im just saying that his voice sounds diffrent when he is not singing

  • He does sound strange just talking, but he's a phenominal singer, beetles are like that too, cant really tell they have an accent when they sing

  • is he the devil in tenacious d?

  • yes

  • Yeah and Tenacious D was in the Foo Fighters' Music Video for Learn To Fly. They must of been friends or something.

  • he is amazing and funny! he is GREAT!!! in niravana and foo fighters

  • im the devil i love metal!!!!!

  • dave grohl is the man

  • he is awesome

  • I don't know his address, but i do like him a lot.

  • he is so cool

  • Simply Dave Grohl interswiev :) funny and great.

Someone knows the Foo Fighters's autrogaph address? Please help me and reply.

  • good interview video!!

  • good

  • it's so good
