I really love D&D (20d p'n'p) games, and nwn 2 is nice . . . but nwn is far better!
Anyway, I've purchased nwn 2 with both expansions and updated to the last patch (1.22 I think) and I used yuan-ti as a race for my wizard. Before finishing chapter 1, while loading my save in Nw City, the game crashed, and when I finally loaded my save, my character had turned into a 1 lvl, human warrior!!! What's going on? I don't use mods . . . What can I do? (apart from re-installation)
@TidusfromZanarkand Sorry to hear that. That really sucks. I've heard of many problems with NWN 2 in Windows Vista and 7 and I had many problems myself as well before buying it on Steam. I haven't had any problems at all since. Sorry I can't be more helpful. I know if you google NWN 2 crash, you'll find many threads.

I Just got this game over the steam holiday achievments, (got it free!!) not sure if it was such a good win since ive never heard of this game

The camera being up over and outside the actual area you're in ruins the game for me. Plus, pause-play combat sucks.

NWN 2 on Steam is install download update download. - Time left to play 10 minutes.
Steam wants you to stare at ads for other games for half an hour. Plus any junk DRM EA can think of.

@matsball I may not understand your question. There really isn't any reason to use daemon tools with this game, since I purchased it through Steam.
