Tinha eu 13 anos quando ouvia esta linda canção. Tenho hoje 63 em 2011. Morava na época em Cubatão. Na Cidade havia um cinema cham,ado Cine Santa Rosa. Situava-se na avenida principal (nove de abril). Todas as tardes o serviço de auto-falantes veiculava os comerciais da cidade e nos intervalos executava esta e outras, tais como: Till - Percy Faith, Tracy's theme - Spencer Ross, Devotion - Frank DeVol, A Summer Place - Percy Faith, Zíngara - Poly e seu conjunto - Rai Conniff, etc.

The original was by Garry Mills, an English singer. Liberty Records rushed out a version by similarly named Gary Miles (really Buzz Casson). Song was written by Tony Hatch (under the nom-de-plume of Mark Anthony. Hatch was a serving soldier at the time).

I remember the movie very well and the song 'look for a star' sung by Garry Mills. The movies was called 'Circus of horrors'(1960). the song climbed into the UK song chart of the same year. I am one of the lucky persons, who happen to have the actual movie and watch it now and again, and never tire of listening to the song which is played a couple of times throughout the movie. For anyome interested, I believe this movie has be re-issued on DVD.
