  • very well done brings back memories

  • It is a sho kata, it is performed softer than a dai kata, but i agree with you, it could of been a little sharper.

  • Nicely ran. A little too soft for my tastes. It is amazing how different we all learn, and run the katas of the same style.

  • Very NiceI I won World with this form, it is the Perfect Kata for me. Who was your Sensei?

  • Nicely done! This is a rare form and at full speed is a ferocious force of nature. Whoever designed it was a genius; few forms allow the accumulation of such raw force through the movements. I was taught the form in the 1980's by an Okinawan Shorei-Ryu stylist, whose father had learned it in the service while in Okinawa. The form I learned is nearly the same, with some detail differences but totally recognizable. It is a distant relative of Nijushiho or Nisiuichi I believe.

  • Similar but different than the way I learned this form.

  • The kiai and sartori remind me so much of my own sensei.

    Kampai!
