  • One of my favorite bands! I praise God for being with raised on such awesome music!

  • Excelente!!!!

  • I'm not a Petra fan but I think this is the best song they ever did and the meaning of the song hits home as I get older.

“Death has been swallowed up in victory.” “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

1 Cor 15 NIV Who got the last word, oh, Death? Oh, Death, who's afraid of you now?

    1 Cor 15 The Message

  • praise God for this song, JESUS LIVES!!!

  • Living Legends, undoubtedly!! i wondered if the Band could really call it quits... this 'resurrection' attests to the fact that Petra will 'live' as long as the Christ they proclaim!!!

  • Louie Weaver, Bob Hartman, Grex X Volz...who are the other two?

  • @examinfo John Lawry and Mark Kelly =D

  • @aaronbass777 Wow that is one of the original line ups. Thanks

  • @examinfo Did this seriously happen? SWEET! If I were to make a Petra All-star Team, these would be the five guys I would pick. No offense to Ronny Cates or John Schlitt, but Mark Kelly has those sweet backing vocals and Volz was the voice from my childhood, so I'm biased. :)

  • @examinfo This is the POWER lineup. Most of them were together for Petra's peak, but John Slick retired after the "More Power" album (I was at his final show in Spartanburg, SC in 1984). John Lowry joined and this lineup recorded the "Beat the System" album which was further recorded on the "Captured in Time and Space" live album that was recorded in Greenville, SC, in 1985 (and yes, I was there, too).

  • Everybody always told me around that time that I looked like Mark Kelly. I also played bass, so I had the mullet and everything to go with it, and yes, I looked just like him!

  • @GodslaveRocks Yeah It had been so long I forgot. I have all Petra, going back to Come and Join us 1974. John`s first album was Back to the Streets (1986) if I remember.

  • This song is awesome!! My favorite since I was just a little girl....

  • gotta love this song right

  • thanks for putting this song on
