@BetterPlayedLouder I also got a hellraiser. Same model too! The guitar is well balanced. It's all mahogany, so it take some to get used to the weight. The neck has a D profile, so it's like a Gibson Les Paul neck :) I hope it helps

Chords and cleans sounded pretty good but as soon as I put on a bit of gain and palmmuted they sounded like... ... uhm... wet farts (only thing i can think of hahaha). They might sound good in bright sounding guitars but in mahogany I think they're a no-no :P.

The problem with invaders is the high output, you really have to get a good eq for the tone to come out well, and a noise supressor helps too.

Syn's Custom guitar also has tone pots with low value capacitor soldered to them to tame the lows which explains why they don't sound so woofy in his guitar.
