I'm probably the biggest fan of tom waits in san francisco...been that way since small Change got played in it's entirety on a radio station one night...Never been the same. THe guy has saved me so many times....will we ever hear In THe Coliseum or Foreign AFfairs or Empty Pockets, or Barbershop done live again? So now that you know where I'm at...buy this. Bill Barron Modern Windows Suite. IF you dig Mingus...and Monk, and seriously upfront playing..this will knock you out.
Thanks for posting, my first time seeing Tom, and..what can I say...WOW...what a stunning show, in every aspect. I feel so spiritually, creatively..fulfilled!
Too bad you didn't get it while the glitter was falling. It was amazing! In St. Louis there was not near as much and it seemed to hit him at the wrong time (in the face) But it was perfect in Atlanta! Definitely one of the best shows I have ever been too.
nice, thanks for posting! I'm hoping to find all of the songs from the houston setlist solely of vids uploaded from the glitter & doom tour. With this addition i think i only need 6 more!
It's on my greatest show list too but I think Stevie Ray Vaughan is still my number 1. Tom is definitely in the running though!
i lost a four hundred dollar auction for tickets for his tabernacle show two years ago. i was on the verge of tears the whole time. just his presence is a religious expirience. the only downside of seeing him is, now every show that i go to, i just think "yeah, this is alright...but i saw tom waits!"
i was there too. do you have the rest of this song on video? the best part was when he 'made it rain' glitter!
also i agree with GrimmyFang. knowing you are in the same room as Tom Waits is a religious experience. God does live among us, and His name is Waits.

Hell yeah man. A friend called me after the show and asked how it was, and all I can say was "....ah...."
It's the first time I've ever been speechless...
