  • Rodeo roof collapse but the Colorado didnt

  • @CrashJSTest its not easy to make a safe car u know, y dont u help them build a safer car??

  • well it did better than the S10 evan though i like them both

  • the 2004-present GMC Canyon is assembled in

    Shreveport, Louisiana, United States

    Rayong, Thailand

  • the 2004-present Chevrolet Colorado is assembled in

    Shreveport, Louisiana, United States

    Rayong, Thailand

  • I own a 2006 gmc canyon, and oh my god do they suck! It currently has 71,000 miles on it, and in that time the transmission has been replaced twice with brand new factory ones, ive lost the oil pump and headgasket..And its needed a new top end! On top of that its already starting to rust out on me! I dont even have salted roads where I live! Thanks alot gm, im glad you went bankrupt cuz you suck and ill never buy another gm as long as I live!

  • I hope the dummy had a wheelchair in the back, look at the tire.....It slams into the occupant compartment!

  • Well, since they changed the S10 to the Colorado it seems to be a much safer truck, good work GM!!

  • the good colorado -.-

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • outside of the 4.3 ho motor its superior to the s-10...nicer and better crash test

  • ooooo... yeah, I think I'm still going to destroy my left ankle because I'll be going for the clutch, and my right foot will be going for the brake. I do agree it's a lot better than the S10... actually in everyway.

  • A lot better than the old S-10's!!

  • Haha, voll e shit???

  • dont be scared, that is an offset barrier crash. (half the width of front). check out full barrier test.

  • Yes, the full barrier it does very well, but only because the energy is evenly shifted throughout the car, full barrier is only good for airbags and seat belts. Cause if you look in any junkyard, almost all crashes happen with quarter or half barrier like hits.

  • shit i just got the canyon and lil bit scared

  • yeah thats like running into a concrete block on the highway, if you crash into a car or mid size suv youll be fine

  • so that means if i crash a full size suv or concrete block on the highway i'll be dead??? lool

  • no maybe just an injury, i totaled my cts by getting t-boned at 40 mph by a suburban, i drive a dodge 3500 with road armor, 4 inch lift and 33' tires on it, no body cuts me off anymore

  • @CRF150EXPERT

why not just drive a tank

  • @atgskater14 yeah people tell me that and say the 3500 isnt much more practical, its a dually

  • @CRF150EXPERT

sounds like a sweet truck, i drive a little blazer i saw the crash test for it im not too worried but a ram 3500 would make me feel a lot safer :)

  • @atgskater14 i honestly dont like it, it may plow through almost anything but it handles bad so it would be difficult to avoid an accident and i would rather just not have to deal with another one. and if im driving casual its so wide i have to make sure i dont go over the line cause its almost 8 feet wide thats how wide the lane is. theres more bad thing i can say than good

  • @CRF150EXPERT

well at least if you have to pull a house you can.

  • @CRF150EXPERT Do you ever get nervous of flipping? I see a lot of people lifting their trucks and all I can think is 'wow, that's extremely dangerous.' If you were to flip I feel like that roof is just not going to do a good job in protecting you and with that lift, something as little as a Corolla could turn you over. I'm not hating your truck, just sharing my worry with you.

  • @Ryantravisaol yeah sometimes i do actually, the closest ive got to flipping it is getting it on 3 wheels offroading, it would seem like a corolla could flip me but if you were to correct a pit maneuver or a t-bone you probably wouldn't flip, but that is extremely hard to do dazed and confused, people than say what if you hit a ditch, the suspension will absorb that

  • @CRF150EXPERT lol if they do them your just run them over! XD

  • *Rolls eyes*

  • This truck is safe, a month ago one of these Colorados driven by two drunk guys hit the car of a friend an old GM pick up(she survived but two of her relatives died). The passengers of the colorado just had minimal injurie even when they didnt have their seat belts. Greetings from Mexico

  • why, is safe XD

  • Put a Bullbar on the front that will help alot.

  • knowing the speed would be nice.

  • 40 mph

  • in the 05 colorado crash test it the Front tire doesnt do that. I have a feeling the Crew Cab is less safe lol I have the Extended cab

  • lol

  • lol

  • safe? look at the tire!!!

  • Look at the result!!

  • remember the footwell ruptured causing massive injuries to the left foot

  • At least the left leg got a "Marginal", not a "Poor", lol.

  • @firedemon101 not massive in this case, but you'd be hurt nonetheless

  • @firedemon101 which is non life threating, worst case senarion your foot gets cut off but you still live

  • WTF! The tire is just coming in to say hello! Give it a break! Actually, I'd feel ok in one of these.
