Anu is much better than Pritam or any other chor.. raja ko rani se sounds like coincidental resemblance - you can't say it's a copy. Anu Malik's original compositions have been far more successful than the inspired ones. Listen to the border songs, refugee songs, asoka songs ..many others. Btw, I think Amr Diab was given credit - they even used segments of the original tamally maak - he wasn't trying to hide it.

anu malik is an ok composer.. but he is no legend. just look at umrao jaan. he could have done so much with it, but his lack of intense classical knowledge showed throughout. first of all, who in their right mind would choose alka yagnik to sing complex songs? also, his songs were so average in that film (and salaam was lifted). ismail darbar would have done a phenomenal job, since he understands classical very well, and he would've picked a better singer than the classically weak alka.
