simple. we are all the same beast, but in different forms. no matter what religion you follow or what scientific law you have learned you can't prove anything. noone can, because we weren't around to see for ourselves. ha :3 yet still you argue and bicker over nothing more than a fickle belief that you're the one who's right, when you should be smart enough to know that you don't know.
Science has proven that the coccyx is the remnant of what was once a human tail. It is not entirely useless because it functions as a support structure for various muscles when a person sits down and leans back.
Do you agree that the bones that make up the coccyx in humans are the same bones that we ascribe to being part of the tail in other mammals (mostly primates)?
And a human embryo does not have 33 vertebrae at one point.. but closer to 42. Why is that?
"The idea YOU HAVE".. Are you presuming and assuming again?
I never nor will make the argument for recapitulation, If you feel I did please show me where!?
Haeckel's "biogenic law" has been refuted on many fronts.Darwin's more sophisticated view that early embryonic stages are similar to the same embryonic stage of related species, but not to the adult stages of these species, has been confirmed by modern evolutionary developmental biology.
Haeckel is often seen as rejecting Darwin's theory of branching evolution for a more linear Lamarckian "biogenic law" of progressive evolution, this is not accurate.... Since around the start of the twentieth century, Haeckel's "biogenic law" has been refuted on many fronts. Darwin's more sophisticated view that early embryonic stages are similar to the same embryonic stage of related species, but not to the adult stages of these species, has been confirmed by modern developmental biology.
Humans have a "tail bone" (the coccyx) attached to the pelvis, in the same place which other mammals have tails. The tail bone is formed of fused vertebrae, usually four, at the bottom of the vertebral column.
When you say "not smart" I can only conclude that you are talking about yourself!
Quote: "Human embryos have a tail that measures about one-sixth of the size of the embryo itself.[1] As the embryo develops into a fetus, the tail is absorbed by the growing body. The developmental tail is thus a human vestigial structure. Infrequently, a child is born with a "soft tail"....although there have been several documented cases of tails containing cartilage or up to five vertebrae...Humans have a "tail bone" (the coccyx)... The tail bone is formed of fused vertebrae,"
Now you are using a lot of time presuming/assuming the most idiotic of concepts concerning my imagination and personal logic instead of staying on topic and addressing what is actually being said by me. Try making valid counterarguments for once!!!
In human anatomy, the vertebral column (backbone or spine) is a column usually consisting of 33 vertebrae. The vertebra IS the spine and a tail is a elongation / continuation of the vertebra! (does not "....function for you approx 1 time per day")
And what's your point? I know that our spine turns into a tailbone... I'd be kinda freaky having a tail with human skin ,( ̄^ ̄)ゞ

normal tailbones have 3-5 vertebrate in them. I have six. so my tailbone is longer than normal. which I am proud of..

@Kahlo69 Has anyone in your family ever been born with six fingers or toes instead of five? You may be related to Goliath, the Philistine.

Did they also debunk the photographs of human embryos? hahaha
Out of interest please refer me to the article / articles that cover this subject!

Tail = The posterior part of an animal, especially when elongated and extending beyond the trunk or main part of the body.
If you think it is anything but a tail (in the picture) then why does it contain vertebrae?
