Yes you are correct to say "a quick tour". Successive governments have got rid of or sold perfectly seaworthy ships. Let's hope we do not have another try by the Argies., if they do, we have no ships,no carriers for air support and now we have no Harriers!. Lets hope the shit don't hit the fan, because if it does, we will be stuffed unless we can buy back seagoing warships from Peru, Pakistan, Mexico, Bangladesh and all the other tin pot navies we virtually GAVE our warships to!!!
