Final Fantasy XIII - Cie'th Stone - Mission 7

My characters have 1700-2000 HP, I used Hope, Lightning, and Sazh, I started the battle using Sazh and Hope as Syn, buffed up, and had another Paradigm with Sazh as Com, and Hope and Lightning as Medics, for when I got low on HP, and then my offensive Paradigm was lightning and Sazh as coms, and I completely crush it, 5 stars every time.

Thanks for the help showing me how to FIND these missions/monsters, I'd have never found it without these videos man.

The second I arrived on Gran Pulse Steppe I did missions 1 - 3 then went straight to mission 7 skipping all the battles in between (had to fight like 3 battles I couldn't avoid) so I had no crystal points after maxing post chapter 10 my characters are Hope (leader), then Snow and Fang 3 paradigms 1 - med/sen/com 2 - syn/sen/com 3 - med/com/com no shrouds/summon/items used 1st fight 3 stars every fight after 4 stars got 3 pairs of haste shoes 5 star battles now

i fucked this guy up with low level, my characters are in the 3k HP scenario. 5 starts with 1 minute and 09 seconds.

i just started with vanille and fang as saboteurs, they fucked him up with 4 debuffs right at the start, then just go with relentless assault to destroy him.

Note that it is easier to finish the game, which enables you to get to level 5 in each of your paradigms. (more Hp, strength and magic). you'll be able to warp from one area to another, finishing off the missions at your pace. also, beating mission 62 gives you Gold Watch, which gets you more time, thus an easier 5star rating..

@midtownstunts so your saying that when you finish the game, your allowed to come back and complete any missions you haven't completed???

@TheCatloverCG Yeah you can come back and complete all the Cieth Stone Missions, farm gils to get all the weapons and items, and get 5 stars everywhere. You can travel pretty much anywhere you've already gone and collect items you miss on your way, but i strongly recomment you try to collect as much as you can.

evened odds(sab,medic,synergist)

slowed him down hope shielded us and then i just ruin raped him got 5 stars and non of there health exceeds over 2600 :P

Thanks your videos really help! How do you have 10000Hp points do you get them further in the game or do you just have to fight?(I only have 2000)

My party has 2040, 2290, 2170 hp and i still killed this 4 star,

all you have to do is have two paradigms set up,

i did it with lightning, vanille, and sazh(since he has haste)

Paradigm 1: commando, medic, commando

Paradigm 2: Medic, Medic, Synergist,

You just alternate in between, you use paradigm 1 all the time,

and paradigm 2 when he does that Miasma crap,

and i finished him off with Odin,

I havent finished the game yet.. my characters are on about 2k HP and I beat this guy? Why is this guy hard? And why the hell is he hitting everyone for like 1k HP in the battle?

Maybe my game is bugged lol? I used Lightning/Hope/Fang -- I use MED/MED/SEN for a recovery stance, COM/MED/SEN to attack, and after debuffing I smack him with COM/RAV/COM

I got 2k and did this mission its easy i used lightning hope and vanille they are my fav. team they r the team i used for the last boss and i did this without shrouds i had (medic medic medic) (comando ravager ravager) (ravager ravager ravager) (medic synergist sabotour) (medic medic sabotour) and (medic synergist medic)

OH MY FREAKING GOD. This guy finished the damn game and now he's showing us how to do these missions. Sure he is too good for us noobs rite now, but hey, you don't have do do the freaking missions right now. Once you beat the motherfucking game, you'll come back to chapter 11. Now stop telling him "you suck dick and shit" cuz he really doesnt. Atleast hes showing us an idea of where the place is and so that you'd have fun looking for it and not suck his dick. If you can beat this fellow quickly enough, and have a Connisseur's Catalog equipped, your chances of getting a Tetradic Tiara increase by quite a bit. Deconstruct it after maxing ita EXP out (it only has one level), and you'll get a pair of Sprint Shoes, which is auto-Haste from the start of the battle.

Update on how to 5 star this on Chapter 11 easily.

SAB, SYN, MED > COM COM COM (Cost 6000 to give Hope RUIN skill, thats all)

(Use slow on Boss, and let Sazh put Haste, Faith and BarThunder) on your team. Then hit him hard with Ruins, you can farm this boss for Bomb Cores which can upgrade your weapons nicely. Should go down in under 1:30.

so there are 55 missions i plan on staying to finishing them before i continue mainly cause gran pulse is the best place to gain experience and cause i wanna get my trophies collected for this area and master all of my paradigm's which are in my trophies unlock list i wanna be strong enough to take one of those dino-lookinmotha's down

You should use a SAB and cast deshell on it, it dies really easily afterwards.

I have 3k hp and it's easy I did the following for this thing....

first way is what this guy does just spam it with ruin but have yourself Haste, and slow him down his main power is his speed so slow him.

Or you can boost yourself and then stagger and then spam ruin on him the second method is better if your attack isn't that high.

(fang as leader) get hope as syntergist so he can cast barthunder... etc to stop poison, thunder moves, etc and use commando, commando, medic and commando, ravager and medic to increase chain gauge stagger thingy lol

You guys really want to know what that crystal does? That thing comes into play in Mission 64, the Doomherald. Out of that crystal pops the one and only Vercingetorix, one of the two hardest enemies in the game, and he will rip you a new one.

Not too sure, I think its something to do with completing your focus as you turn to crystal.

Maybe his focus was to kill himself? So when YOU kill him, he turns to crystal xD
