I just found this clip, as I watched it I had to pause it to keep from crying despite it's short length.

It reminded me that although we have no more living veterans, we must not forget the lives lost. We must not forget their struggles. We must not forget their stories. The second we forget is the second humans become no different than beast.

His family is in my prayers.

A true American hero! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Thank you Mr. Buckles for all your service for/to our nation.  You were a real soldier and through all your challenges you kept going....so keep going on into the arms of Jesus...you have reach your final deployment, Soldier, AT EASE!
